its just completely frustrating watching dirk get punked on the boards, he is so soft is crazy, we will never be true contenders with him as the best player because he is simply a one trick pony. awful d, doesnt rebound or pass well.

The pick and roll defense was embarrassing and lost the game for the Mavs. Carlisle should be absolutely bitching everyone out about their effort on defense tonight.

Would have won the game if Chandler played no doubt. One thing we've learned tonight is you can't count on Mahimi. If he plays well, great. But you can't count on him.

The sad thing is we locked them down for the first half.

Good game tonight guys. I am still in awe that the Grizz scored 41 in the 3rd.

That's OJ Mayo for you. Hollins finally got it through his thick head, that the team is better when OJ is starting and involved in the offense. Let's hope OJ keeps starting games for playoffs sake at least.
OJ Mayo , Michael Jordan , Allen Iverson.

Here is what frustrades me about the Roddy situation.

Terry had a great game. 33 minutes, 26 points on 60% shooting. 1 steal, 1 assist and 2 turnovers.

But....

In less than half the minutes, Roddy had 15 points on 63% shooting with an assist and 2 steals, 1 turnover.

The difference was Roddy scored both inside and out. Roddy had the Grizzlies defense scrambling to cover the open men because of help defense. Roddy had the Grizzlies (especially Conley) in foul trouble. Terry....not so much.

I agree with you. See, Roddy was out until late in the second and my initial thought at the begining of the 2nd q was that Carlisle tried to match him up on their quick PG Conley. And i waited, and waited.

What else is he supposed to do? Nobody on this team can defend guys like Conley and you are not even going to give Roddy that opportunity down the stretch. After seven minutes of going perfect from all distances he has to sit for 12 minutes!

Carlisle says Roddy has to earn minutes. I say Carlisle has earned himself a lot criticism after this game and his seat should be a little more heated.

And what about that defensive coach? Forgot his name (Casey?), but he must be really happy with our PnR defense.

I just hope we don't get memphis in the first round. I always have a bad feeling about them, and then **** like this happens.

So you rather play Denver? There won't be an easy first round matchup and i wouldn't want it any other way. This team is likely heading for another first round exit. You don't win in this league with Kidd and Terry averaging 32+ minutes.

If we play Memphis in the first rd, the Mavs will win in 5 games. They win game 3 throw a parade for their first win and Mavs finish it off after that.

This is the only team that worries me in the first round. They always give us trouble, especially Z-Bo. They were also playing without Rudy Gay. I still think we'll be ok but man....anyone but the Griz, please.

 Keep dreaming.
Btw, this team won't play Memphis in the first round because Memphis is not going to get the 6 seed. Mavs will face the Blazers and will lose in 6 games. Book it.

1. Spurs
2. Lakers
3. Mavs
4. Thunder
5. Nuggets
6. Blazers
7. Hornets
8. Grizzlies
