Only cuz JJ can't walk and chew gum a the same time I assure you.

Kidd just tripled his point total from the last 2 nights combined on one shot.

Rodman ft was On the line for that 3.

Dirks not even hitting the rim. This is a big win for the mavs. Would have been a terrible loss even if it was a back2back.

JET has done a good job taking the ball to the rim tonight.

I'm sure he would be playing if either team had a good back to the basket post player,

That 7/11 is mis leading. One was a last second 86 foot 3 point shot and one was a miss by Terry they put on Roddy. In actual offense, Roddy was 7/9.

One of his misses was a half court heave, and one was a Terry miss that got miscredited to him.

To people that just saw the boxscore and didn't see the game. It is NOT a glitch on your screen. Rodrigue Beaubois did get 37 minutes here.

But what concerns me is that this was against Golden State where we can pull off the 3 guard lineup. Against legit teams we will have to have Marion in it and then either Terry or Roddy. And unfortunately we know how that's going to end :(

I missed the first few minutes because the espn double header went a little late. So I don't know the extent to which Ellis' hot shooting had Roddy's defense to blame. But after the 8 minute mark of the 1st quarter he was by far our best guard defender.

Law and Ellis basically waited to be guarded by Kidd or Terry before they started scoring again.

The funny thing about Golden State was that the 3 guard lineup was the better defensive lineup.

I know Dirk had a great 2nd half, but I am voting Roddy today. It is the first time I have a chance to vote for him and he stopped the bleeding defensively. Also, I think this is the first time I vote for someone more because of defense than offense.

+1

Plus his offense wasn't shabby either.

Excited about the 2nd half. Hopefully we can carry it over to the spurs on Friday.

I'd be down to start Brewer on Friday again actually.

Am I the only one who wants to go back to starting Marion? :-?

Carlisle will probably start Peja instead of Brewer. And Brewer really hasn't shown us that he's a good defender. I'd prefer to try the same thing we did to LA one more time. Roddy on Parker, Marion on Manu, and Kidd on Jefferson.

A win against the Spurs would be a good way to turnaround this rather gloomy week we've been having.

I like Trix coming off the bench cuz it keeps cardinal on the bench.

Roddy on Parker
Kidd on RJeff
Brewer on Manu to start Matrix to close.
