Hang on KD. Don't give up.
Stay in PHX and say no that BS.
Let Nico Harrison be the better clown in the world.
I still hope for Karma...1 shoot. Right there.

Which means any team he gets traded to, he's essentially a one year rental. No guarantee he stays and re-signs with the Lakers as well. He's a one year rental if he doesn't like a Luka - Bronny James backcourt, he'll move to another team that has cap space.
That's why you sign him to the supermax and trade him next season, assuming you want to trade him in the first place like that moron Nico.
Nico is not a moron. He's a snake. It's a not a fleece if you do it on purpose. Whatever beef he's been having with Luka, it cost him $116M and got him shipped out overnight. That's personal if you ask me.

Reports are Nets will be buying out Ben Simmons.
We need a ball handler and anything outside of shooting jumpers, Ben Simmons is above anyone else on the buy out market right now. If you need another guy to bring the ball down and playmake a bit, for the vet minumum, I think I can buy into that.
If your options are like Ben Simmons, Vs 7 G-league point guards who can bring the ball down court, if the cost is the same (vet min), you have to take simmons.

So Nico not only gifted the Lakers Luka, he gifted them Mark Williams as well.
What a total idiot.
Every Lakers fan should have a poster of Nico hanging in their man caves and every Mavs fan should one hanging on their dart boards.

He's not an idiot because he did it on purpose. It makes him a snake.
He was aware of what he was doing. He didnt like Luka on a personal level.

Yeah, I think it was all about ego with Nico... it's obvious he has his guys and it's pretty obvious Luka wasn't one of them....with all the stuff coming out about the Mavs getting rid of everybody close to Luka in the past years I think we can safely assume that the only reason Nico didn't pull the trigger earlier was because Cuban was still involved ,and than last year the Mavs had results...I think last years run in the playoffs screwed up Nico's plan a lot and if they Lost in the second round I think he'd pull the trigger in the offseason
Listen, the Mavs got an amazing player in AD and Max has been a surprise, but one can't help to wonder if they could get more(I think they could)...And I don't like the way they handled the situation post trade, the smear campaign....I was always verry vocal about Luka's conditioning, weight, complaining and the fact he needs to get better at those things... obviously Mavs didn't know how to get through to him,I also think they cuddled him too much at the start, they should have handled his conditioning and other things from the beggining...I Guess it's tough to say someone he needs to do something better if the results are there...I think this trade might actually be good for Luka,I'm sure he's pissed and will try to show everyone the Mavs made a mistakes
And as for DAL, they need to win a tittle... honestly,I think they need to win two to justify this trade because in a couple of years this team is gonna be Wizzards level bad
Right now I don't like the fact that Kyrie has to Play this many minutes...we know in the playoffs rotations will shorten, you need 7-8 Players rotations there...that 7 Player rotations is good on the Mavs, apart from a Kyrie substitute (PG)...Exum looks good now bit we've seen the same thing last RS and he was unplayable in the playoffs..the playoffs are a different beast,I'm curious to see who will actually be able to conteibute in those games
And final thought...you gave up Luka and left the LAL enough ammo to bring in a good C...like WTF?? Sure, Williams has his own injury concerns but still....Lakers are on a different timeline and they get their stars thru FA..you should have gotten every pick they had left

The funniest thing about AD trade is that Lakers are playing better without him. The only loss without him was in November. And that's a team with Hayes as the only C. Nico on the other hand believes he needs 3 good Cs. If he's really all in, he should have turned Gafford in something else, you can't win Nba in this era focusing on bigs. That might work in RS, but in playoffs all teams will shutdown Kyrie and everything will depend on Dinwiddie/Exum and playing with 2 bigs will kill Klay too.

Mavericks can’t sign anyone bought out right now. They are only 170k below the 1st apron. They’d have to shed salary to create enough room to offer a minimum salary to anyone bought out.
That's because Nico screwed himself by trading Grimes. And in the process he made AD lose extra 6M as well. And even worst thing is, he could have voided the trade but Philly convinced him to take extra 2nd rounder and Nico obviously said yes to that

Long story short, No grimes, No Martin (with no timetable to return), and No extra cap space to go for higher salary buyouts aka better buyout candidates.

Kyrie loses a million from his bonus if the Mavs fail to reach 50 wins, they are at 25 losses, if they have the 33rd loss before the cut off date from min signings they may be able to sign one, but it shouldn't have reached this point, that trade was pointless...
Defense wins draft lotteries!

I was totally wrong Archx, the Martin signs was a failure after the news about his injury.
My fault... I'm so confused, all this situation makes me crazy as hell. I can't believe what happened.

This is the type of comment I question about your understanding about the sports.
Let's not argue how good or bad this guy is because that's perspective.
But I guess everyone agrees that this guy has ATTITUDE problem, right?
You can fix offense, defense, condition etc etc in basketball, but you cannot fix attitude problem unless the player himself wants to make a change.
Is Ben that guy? How big is the possibility that he wants to make a correct sharp turn?
Basketball is not a video game. Personality, attitude, chemistry all matter so so much.

What would be required to be able to sign a buyout currently? I know we need to shed salary but a trade is now off the table. Would stretch waiving Powell be enough?

Goddamn it..I cant let this go.
It's hard to support a team that has a total idiot GM and an owner who doesnt understand enough about the game to recognize it.
There is a part of me that hopes the Lakers blow us out and Luka scores 70pts when they come to Dallas.

And I agree.
Without real PG this team is done. For real.
