If Charlotte buys him out, is Dallas eligible to sign him to like a 10 day deal? That center rotation that we have right now, is like G-league level. No hate for that new guy we have but it does look that way without Lively, Gaff and heck even Powell.

Why should they sign an injured player?

Because he's injured. He'd fit the 'culture' Nico is building perfectly.

Let's sign Mo Bamba and try to live in a parallel universe where we drafted him in 2018.

Prosper must develop a reliable 3, he's not very young, Josh Green was already 40% 3P shooter at his age, w/o it, he's not an NBA player.

What's the deal with Sharp?
Why not sign him to a 2-way and move on from Kelly?
He can at least give us some shot blocking presence in the paint.
This small ball crap isnt going to work against teams with legit bigs. Plus this season is a wash anyway with Gafford, Lively and AD most likely out for God-knows how long.

I've been one of OMax's biggest supporters but I'm beginning to see what Kidd saw early on.
He seems to be another version of Green and Powell. Full of athleticism and hustle but yields very little for their efforts.

I'm having a hard time seeing him develop into a rotational player. Hope I'm wrong but just not seeing much (if any) improvement.

Christie has way more upside and they're the same age.

Omax has been given a lot of playing time recently, but didn’t show too much improvement at all. Very raw offensively, always bad position for rebounding/defense, obvious low basketball IQ player.

Can Christie be our diamond in the dirt? Can we get light version of Anthony Edwards?

More like Mikal Bridges, which is very good.

If anything, he can secure our future regarding the multiple picks we can get in return (if Nico ever gets fired).

Stein is reporting that since Caleb Martin decided not to waive his trade kicker, Mavs lacked the $$$ to be in the running for Ben Simmons.

Simmons signed for like 700k in LA.

Simmons is perfect with Harden, great shooter from the corners.

Too bad to hear this, but it is understandable given that he has signed a lower value contract aiming for better winning environment in PHI, but fail. Hopefully he can become the glue that we want him to.

Mavs is only 0.17M under hard cap and not even have ability offer him a minimum contract at this moment

Just the simple fact that Nico didn't insist on a Klay for Reeves swap shows how beyond incompetent he is

If it comforts you, Klay is having a great season on defense. He may not be a reliable 20+ scorer on every night but he is also doing good elsewhere which helps with his overall impact. His On/Off is also highest since 16/17. Just sucks we won't see him play with Luka because he got easiest shots with him.

Also, the trade would fail because LAL would be above cap of 2M, so LAL would need to find additional assets to move or completely re-do the entire trade.

It's more Reeves has far more trade value to be flipped than Klay at this point and in the future.

But nothing Mavs can do will comfort me, I've turned to the Wizards because of Nuco and the gamblers, so basketball is no longer my joy :)
