I wonder why the current staff is still employed. We've seen coaches get fired for way less in this league.

That's why they raised the ticket prices, so they could afford all medical bills.

That casino vault is filled with hundred dollar bills from floor to ceiling.

Heh. But then again, businessmen aren't in the business to give away free money. That's how billionaires become millionaires.

I don't see any big superstar coming here after what happened with Luka and mostly because the fans hate organization so hard....

Superstars never came to Dallas unless they had to, been like this since the early Dirk days.

Dallas has always been in the backseat when it comes to FA destinations. LA (Lakers and Clippers), Miami and New York all fall ahead in that category.

With Kidd and KD whispering on the sidelines with theit mouths covered, I'm inclined to believe they're trying to get him to come over. But if it does cost a lot (and it will), I dont think you'd have much of a team left after that.

Which guard would we be interested in in FA..? Do we have the full MLE? Brogdon/Russell/B.Brown/Schroeder (can we afford any of these?) Maybe CP3 until KI comes back? Do we continue with Exum? Do we bring back SD? Do we like B.Williams? What do you think...

Brogdon? Maybe Fred Van Vleet?

Brogdon? Maybe Fred Van Vleet?

The idea of Brogdon sounds good, but in reality he has had a mediocre season and as always plagued by injuries, although it is also true that he is on the worst team in the league. I am interested, if he is cheap... FVV is out of range for us. I also read that he was going to extend his contract with Houston.

Read a report that Mavs interest with KD is overstated. So maybe they're not as interested with KD after all.

Either way it works for me.

Sixers are saying they will try to trade Paul George this summer.

Watch out for Nico...

Given that this roster was built around Luka, I think we'll see some changes this summer. Players who were once vital to the scheme won't be as vital anymore, in the new twin-tower setup and without a PnR master (thinking Washington/Gafford). I sense that a big who can space the floor (and isn't a defensive liability) and an aggressive guard who attacks the rim would be ideal. Is there a path to converting PJ/Gafford + (Powell/Hardy as filler) into Turner/Reaves or even Monk?
There are some interesting big wings in our draft class to replace PJ (Mcneeley/Fleming/Boyles).

Turner/Lively/K.Jones?
AD/*K.Edwards/O-Max
Klay/Marshall/Draft
Christie/Martín/*Exum
*Reaves/*KI/*B.Williams

Could CP3 hold the team together until KI returns? The season is taking a long time for him, but I think he did pretty well, as long as his legs held out.

Banned McMahon is on podcast tour to sell his new book, he said on the podcast that he doesn't think Mavs are interested in KD.

Getting KD in Dallas seems like it's going to be done for entertainment purposes. You know, kids get their pictures taken, merch gets sold etc.

But getting KD in a team where you have Kyrie and AD is tricky because one of those guys gets relegated to being the 3rd option (while being paid as a first option). So whoever takes the 3rd option role sacrifices his game a bit for the trio to work. Otherwise, we have a true 3rd option in PJ who is also getting paid like a 3rd option.

A 3rd option in that equation just needs to score what, 15 ppg? While getting rebounds here and there, like Chris Bosh and Kevin Love? That's essentially what PJ is doing anyway right? So I don't think KD is a must-have for the team to be able to compete. Kyrie, AD, PJ, Lively, Gaff and Klay is still a competitive team. But for entertainment purposes I can see the KD to Dallas being a thing. KD jersey sales, merch, casual season ticket holders just looking to catch a game with NBA stars on it. That works for that crowd.

Also, getting KD means that whole offensive playbook will change. Instead of pick and rolls, I would think it would be more iso with KD on top then he kicks it out to whoever cuts or shoots it on his own.

With Kyrie and AD, the passing game that the team currently has now wouldn't change too much.

So it definitely has its pros and cons.

The Phoenix Suns are so bad even with 3 all stars playing that AD has to clack back into work because the team is in the play in by default.

So long top 10 pick.

Play in starts today, Dallas faces Sacramento right?

Will street clothes play more than 3 quarters this time?
