Nah your difference maker is Kidd playing like he is 20 years younger.

Your playoff run ends at round 2 no matter what happens.

Sore loser much? Just pray the injury bug doesn't hit Aldridge's knees. Oden, Roy, Aldridge next?
A shame cause I actually like the Blazers, but their fans = not so much.

Lol neither team can make it past LA so yeah just shut up.

You threaten our team with injuries and your fans are just as bad if not worse.

Pure class from the Dallas fans!

Your roster costs more the ours does and there is the difference in the ball game.

Dallas has more depth obviously...

Take it easy on the liquor tonight dude

Nah dude you take it easy your the one that is implying that Aldridge is next with the knee trouble. That is cold dude I didn't even wish any injuries on your players.

But of course your a Dallas fan and its crap like this that makes Dallas a hated franchise. Mark Cuban is the worst owner in sports!

BTW: I'm not drunk! :D

Last time we were up 2-0, we lost the next 4. Interesting...but I think the more relevent worry for me is when the Jazz were up 2-0 on us and we came back to win that series as Stockton passed the toarch to Nash. Hopefully Dirk is not ready to pass the tourch to Aldridge.

Elbow to the face is an obvious call. If you're just here to complain about officiating that doesn't favor us at all (awkward calls throughout the game - especially in the first half) I suggest you go back to your board. ty

LOL, fair enough, I am just bitter. That wasn't a terribly reffed game. Missed FT's and poor defensive rotations the biggest problem for the Blazers. But, just know that the guy who always screws the Mavs reffed a fair game... what does that mean for all the guys who normally ref the games fairly? Good games in Dallas, we'll see you guys in Portland.

Whereas LMA scored most of his points and rebounds in the first half Dirk went off in pure MVP-manner in the second half and especially the 4th quarter where LMA simply disappeared. No disrespecting LMA - tons of respect for that guy. But Dirk is just 10x the player that he is at this stage of their careers.

As a Blazer fan, I totally agree. LMA made huge strides in his inside game this year, but Dirk makes tough shots like they are dunks. And he is much more graceful attacking the basket. That is part of the reason why he gets to the free throw line so well.

Ya'll shot 50% on threes while we shot 42%.......

If Portland is going to rely on Andre Miller and Marcus Camby to account for 43% of its made 3s, I may literally cry.

I dont like to see Barea out there

Barea...3/14FG, 5ast, 3TO, 0stl -2 in 35min29sec
JET...7/17FG, 4ast, 2TO, 4stl, +23 in 59min51sec

And I like to see his productivity(+23) with less FGA. I remember his backup PG era.

Dirk...19.6FGA/36min
Peja...15.9FGA/36min
Barea...14.2FGA/36min
Kidd...13.4FGA/36min
JET...10.2FGA/36min

I think Barea is SG since January and he plays so well since then.

Well the torch was passed to Mike Bibby, chancy billups, mike Bibby again, Tony Parker a couple times then perhaps to Nash. Cuz we never had the best point guard in those series.

Plus this dirk is way better than that Karl Malone.

But that was a little poetic yeah.

Great win....
With a very aggressive Nowitzki.

Hopefully they will be able to sweep. They need to put this team away.

I still would like to see less Terry and Barea. I want Brewer to get some minutes.

The Blazers made runs (again) while Terry was inserted. At least Barea was scoring and forced turnovers to cover his defense.

My gut feeling is that we can win game 3, but if we don't we won't win game 4 either. We'll win the series in either game 5 or 7, my original prediction was 5.

That's funny, they're called experts. I wonder what Adrian Wojonauski (idk if I spelled that right) thinks now?

Portland board calling out Mav fans and posters in their threads. Mods giving from ro to dirk a warning, but this guy comes over and trolls. I'll speak up. It's not right. Go get your freaking shinebox over there in the 0-2 hole.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
