Would love Dinwiddie back but good lord who would be the odd man out?

With Maxi's injury history, PJ being a complete question mark, Prosper still raw, and Marcus being the better of the 2 twins, I wouldn't mind adding Marcus to this team. He'd bring some dog to this team that seems to be lacking.

We can't trust Exum and Kyrie, they will miss games.
Mavs play best with 3 guards, when 2 of them are at all time on the floor.
Morris brothers are washed, I don't think any has any meaningful contribution in them.
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

Yea if we have the option between Dinwiddie and Morris, Spence is the clear cut choice

Please don't waste the spot on Morris...

Would still go after Hayes, but don't see it happening.

Lowrey (who is almost 100% going to PHI), then Gallo for me, Gallo is washed but he's a winner, he'll help in the locker room.

I’m actually ok if the Mavs sign Marcus Morris. I like the idea of the Mavs adding some attitude to team. It’s going to be pretty fun watching the Mavs (with the Morris twins) going against Jokic and the Nuggets.

Please no Morris...Exum and Kyrie are always hurt...Green and Hardy can't play the PG...Mavs need another PG who can take the load of off Luka... they're gonna run him to the ground by playing him 40 minutes

Gallo makes no sense to me. He would be a worse version of Bertans.

If max. player will be nonstop hurt, Mavs are doomed no matter what. We have enough guards. The only team in Nba with 2 superstar guards and you want more of them? Even Dinwiddie knows that, that's why he has chosen Lakers.

So what is everyone’s problem with Marcus Morris?

Yeah, another PG would help...or would you rather risk an injury to Luka by overplaying him?? Playing Luka and Kyrie 40 minutes a game for the rest of the season is a recipe for an injury
Dinwiddie went to the Lakers cause he's from California and because of LeBron....good luck to him but I hope the Lakers crash and burn this year and that they make a desperation trade for Trae in the summer

Dinwiddie can't do what Kyrie and Luka are doing, so even if we would have gotten Dinwiddie, Luka would still be playing 40+ minutes, if Kyrie was out. He's playing 40 minutes even with Kyrie. Dinwiddie could be only Exum replacement and that has 0 influence on Luka's minutes.

The only chance for Mavs doing something this year is luck with injuries in remainder of the season.

I mean a guard would help but personally I want size. The Mavs have to go through Denver and Minnesota who both have elite big men. The Morris twins won’t shut them down but they will bother Jokic for sure.
