Wow.. best 5 mins of defense on a star player this season for the Mavs. Powell, DFS and KP doing amazing job so far on Giannis.

KP is getting a lot more comfortable putting the ball on the floor these past 3 games. We were not treated to these drives from KP earlier in the season. VERY NICE to see!

It's gonna be really annoying if the Mavs actually start to win games and people say Luka is holding the team back.

I know it's been the narrative of a certain forum mod that the bench is carrying the Mavs.

Let's be honest here. Mavs probably played one of their best defensive Q in the whole season. They are obviously making their shots but defense is what carried 1st Q. If they can keep this up, they can win comfortably.

I also loved what Brunson was doing, finding open people, DFS slowly but surely transforming himself into a nice 3&D player.

Heh. Don't mind that dude. Probably just insecure about his players. Luka basically stole all their shine.

Mavs still have no idea how to attack a zone.
Man, I loved it back when RC was the only coach to use a zone. Stotts and Casey must have shared the gospel with other teams.

Watching Lee in the lineup instead of Luka, hurts my eyes. He's more useless than me just sitting and watching the game.

Freaking Rick riding this set of players for so long. And there goes almost entire lead. WHY?!?

When a teammate makes an ill-advised pass to you in the corner with shot clock expiring. You're not suppose to pass the ball to your teammates in the corner when they're not open & the shot clock is winding down.

I see the Mavs defensive strategy tonight is let Giannis wear himself out with an all-you-can-dunk buffet.

The defensive effort has been good in stretches in the 2Q, but the defensive rebounding has really been lacking.

Worst thing you can do for a poor shooter is foul them, let them get free shots, let them see the ball going in the basket...

Mavs should be up by 10 at half. Bucks missed a lot of shots (that weren't dunks lol) in the 1H.

It's going to take a monster defensive effort in the 2H for the Mavs to have a shot.

On the brightside, when Giannis is off the court, it feels like MIL is missing Bledsoe's direction & assertiveness tonight.

Lee 7 mins 0/0/0/0/0/0 1TO -7... Really Rick? Over Barea? And THJ has to wake up in the 2nd, they'll need him badly. Also really stupid foul from Powell there on Giannis to give him free 2 points ffs. How can you be so dumb.

C'mon man.
I'm not even sure THJ is better than OJ Mayo.
