Personally not a huge fan of jersey retirements unless it's an absolute no brainer. I think a better solution is to put the jersey number on ice for 5-10 years then release back into circulation for an active player again

JJ was more of a headache to me during his time with us. I appreciate what he did to help us win a ring because he was a big factor in the playoffs, but I wanted him gone more, because he blocked us from giving younger talent more minutes.
