Indeed. He's playing with a lot more energy now. He recenly started attacking the rim more and more. Still has some issues there due to the lack of explosiveness but he's getting there, slowly. Will be interesting to see how the neck injury affects their upcoming games. He said he has problems turning the head around lol.

“They had my back,” said Doncic, who had 33 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in the win. “Both of them, anybody, we had each other’s back. That’s what great teams do. I would go with these guys to war. This is a special team.”

Six years ago Luka played his first game as a pro.

Third youngest player ever in the Spanish League (ACB) and youngest ever to play for Real Madrid.

Tweet says 7 years.

Time flies. Four years in Dallas.

His first 3possesions have setted the tone.
He is a winner and a leader. We are very lucky.

If this hadn`t been a blowout and maybe just a +15-20 at the end of the 3rd - Luka would have gone for 45+.

People are going nuts over Luka, but we've been watching him for 4 years, year 2 and year 3 he was better at dribble penetration, he's still insane, but he relies much more of fade away and step back, but he's matured oh so much mentally, he's the leader of the team, his teammates love him and look up to him, they'll go to war for him, and he's bossing opponents around, doesn't take crap from anyone.
He was challenged after game 2, Chris Paul targeted him in the P&R, and Devin Booker stupidly thought he's on par with him and mocked him, he mopped the floor with both of them, if it wasn't for 3rd Q meltdown in game 5, this would've been reverse sweep.
The legend of Luka is growing larger.

Beating the Suns was great for many reasons, one of them being the dumb idea of "if Ayton wins a title, then the Suns made the right pick". Not that it matters, but that was always such a stupid idea.

Winning game 7 in Phoenix was a very symbolic moment and the perfect place to take another step in the growth process.

Luka is All NBA 1st team for the 3rd consecutive time after missing it in his 1st year only, I think only Tim Duncan had better personal all NBA record in his 1st 4 years.

Let me preface with I am not a Mavs fan, but I do watch the play-offs. If he did some weight training, he would be unstoppable. He wouldn't get posterized again. In the off season, I'd have that dude running and in the gym working on that upper body. His knowledge of the game is quite good.

Everyone gets posterized, doesnt matter if u weighttrain. Obly difference is that for some reason, in the US its worse to be posterized then stepping aside and let opposition get a free dunk. Like kawhii is a little sissy to me. Made a big deal about that on kleber last po, but in like mavs next attack kawhii just steppdd away hidibg and gave a free dunk. 2 points is 2 points, if i had owned clippers it would have been a week salary fine for being a little bitch

Luka had bad turnovers agains Suns in Q3, and Kidd should have rested him immediately, when it was obvious he was spent, in back2back and playing nonstop in first 3Qs. But normally Luka and Mavs TOs are not problematic. Mavs are always between better teams with TOs and all ball dominant players have a lot of them. Luka's problem this year is conditioning and bad shooting, which force him to makes very hard for each point. More than good ballhandler Luka needs good scorer beside him. Someone, who can create in Q4 for himself. KP is total disappointment in that regard and I doubt Brunson is long term answer either.

OT -- Someone on Twitter is claiming that Goran is mulling coming out of NT retirement to play against Croatia in June 30th, did you hear something?
