Good response to take back the lead and build to 5. Close this one out please. Last thing I wanna hear is Laker fans gloating.

Tougher win than I expected after the first half. Happy the team didn't choke in the 4th.

Having another ball handler like Dinwiddie is more valuable that whatever KP brought. I hope Most Mavs fans recognize this.

Luka comes up huge but the Mavs is not really in very good sharpe. Teams learnt to double Luka and now diwinde as well. If it is going to be a trend when Burke is out, the Mavs has to train up Green as a playmaker. At the same time, the Mavs has to knock down open shots, including free throw. This game is an alarm call. LAL is in because Mavs offense can be shut down. DFS and Powell makes the difference big time. But it's a LAL team without AD. That's nothing to celebrate with. So is the GSW game. GSW was playing without KT and Draymond.

Great W, ok the Lakers are bad but after their come back could be easy give up and lose the game. Not happens.

The guys played very well in the last 5minutes and Luka takes the game against LeBron.

We are a team and fight all together.

The Lakers are bad. They shot over 40% from three point range and still lost. They have a solid chance of completely missing the playoffs. If it wasn’t for the stupid play in they definitely would.

Happy to win after that abysmal 3rd quarter.

Luka stepped up in the 4th, Dinwiddie & Brunson had solid games and DFS & Powell did their thing. This shouldn't have been close if Bertans and Bullock just hit their shots at a decent clip. Can't have your 2 best shooters shoot 1-11 combined.

We have streaky shooters, it's difficult to have all of them hot in the same game... Tonight we had Brunson and DFS, last game Bullock and Bertans.

Obviously miss wide open is bad.

Good win on the road by the Mavs. Granted the Lakers are bad but a win on the road is always good.

Summarizes the game with an "oh well".

Said we needed to win 2 of the 3 games. Can be 3 of 3 if theu play normal vs GS.

Btw. Before season, were I the only 1 saying mavs were gonna win 50 this year? Remember lots saying it wasnt possible. Its like 13 wins in 20 games or so, so not impossible

No kidding. I know there were games where KP put up great numbers but it was almost like empty stats. Those games rarely came when Luka was also playing well. Dinwiddie is putting up good (not great) numbers but in just the few games he’s played with the team it’s hard to say they could have won those games with his playmaking ability. He does take a lot of pressure off of Luka.

Thought is was interesting to see Luka calling for the switch to get Labron on him, and then abusing Labron.

Getting outscored 31-14 in a quarter isn't a good look, especially by THIS Lakers team. :naaa:

If you replace the H in hero with a Z, what do you get?

I like how active Dinwiddie is on the court last night and being vocal. He had an active game in the 24 minutes he played.

Bertan has one job and we need him to do it better. Make your 3-pointers.

I loved it.
Luka will abuse Lebron any chance he gets until Lebron decides to hang it up.

Yes he missed everything, but that kind of games happen. You can change Bertans to Avdija and get similar result. :D

Yea but one makes 17 mil for multiple years, the other is on a rookie scale contract and actually plays D. I still say if Dinwiddie was the target, Mavs had no reaosn to take on bertans. They should have asked for KCP or gotten in before Harrell went to Cha. All reports here in DC were Wiz wanted off of Dinwiddie bad, so i doubt they had any leverage making Dallas take on Bertans

I don't think you're being fair.
I didn't watch last night game, but Bertans commands different kind of defense than Maxi/DFS/Bullock, with the other players defense sags off to help and rely on close outs, Bertans quick release keep the defense honest, except for the collapse against NOP, his defense wasn't glaringly bad in any other game, he consistently posts good +/-.
