Only a stupid man like Cuban could think that Frank should be the third PG of this team. He is a 3&D guy.
My hope is all on Green.

Wood is a baller, he can score and create his own shoots every day. Even without a PG.
I don't remember a big like him in our Mavs after Dirk. Wow.

Hardy can score a lot, we will see if he can play NBA games and not only playground basket.
Dorsey 0/6 tonight.ouch.

Could Green be... for real?

Imagine if Green can become a great rotation player and Hardy can become a great scorer. The team wouldn't miss much.

I'm disappointed in the lack of offense variety. Was hoping for more diversity especially in a game without Luka. Looks like they tried from time-to-time but led to a lot of turnovers. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.

Green and Hardy were again fantastic though. I swear I had to double take when I saw Green actually an unprompted contested 3.

McKinley Wright was very good. Kid made all the right plays and it looks like Kidd seems to believe in him since he handled the ball more then anyone, even in lineups where they had 4 supposed ballhandlers.

Dinwiddie has looked good.

I'm not sure, if Wood playing like today, can be efficient enough in serious games.

Hardy came alive in last Q, when both team were playing with deep bench players.

Dorsey is probably already regretting giving up 1 mio+ net payment in Euroleague. He's totally lost.

Green should have tried more in that kind of games, but in the end everything will depend on, if he can hit those open 3s.

Ntilikina is useless unless he plays 3&D and hits shots.

Mavs offense looked atrocious without Luka and Dinwiddie, but we have already known that.

McKinley Wright played great. Great motor, kept finding guys and making buckets. I have only watched one game of his, but he looked great.

There is no doubt that Wood will be great with Luka. He does not need the perfect pass at the ideal position like Powell. He just needs the ball close to the basket and he will get a bucket.

Hardy will take Hardaway's minutes this season. That's a great sign for a rookie. I think Green is more comfortable with role and is a lot more confident than last season. I think Green does have potential to be Rudy Fernandez-like. Wright has raised eyebows in this game. Having 10 assists on a new team not being a leader, Wright is impressive. I think Wright offers similar skillsets of JJ. The Mavs should evaluate Wright for potential Burke role.

Dorsey disappoints. Dinwinddle underperforms. So is DFS. Wood is active. On both end of the floor, Wood can capitalize the opportunities more with the footspeed advantage. For example, read and deny the entry pass is a huge potential for Wood. While Wood might not be a great rim protector. Wood can certainly get a couple of steals with better awareness and energy. This stat is underrated, But given how GSW revolutionize the playing style, Wood has a very good chance to be special. Wood also has potential as a scorer, pick-n-roll runner, and playmaker. Expand the vision and court-awareness, that footspeed mismatch advantage might be Giannis-like.

Ntilikina needs to study the floor game more. Let's get +ve in plus/minus first.

Hell no. You can't make this assumption just because Hardy played well vs OKC's "4th" lineup. Also, THJ will probably be Mavs 2ndary most important scorer this year, cutting his minutes would be a disaster. There are other scrubs that can play reduced minutes, like Frank for example.

In what way? EU Rudy was a monster, Green is far from that. On NBA level, Green just needs to focus on defense and knocking down open shots.

Rudy was good NBA player, I watched him up close in his Portland days, but he preferred to be a star in Europe than borderline starter in the NBA.

If Hardy keeps performing I think thj will play more 3, something like

Luka - Spencer
Bullock - Hardy
THJ - Green
DFS - Kleber
Mcgee - Wood

Hardy will do very well, if he gets 10-15 minutes per game.

Bullock, McGee and Hardy missed on 3 amazing passes by Luka.

They were all over the place in the 1st half. No one can make a difficult pass outside of Doncic. Just glad THJ is healthy but has to calm down a bit and find his shot again.

Wood as a 6th man looks good, just needs to realize he ain't Dirk and stop taking so many rushed 3 pointers.

Kidd will have some problems figuring out productive guard rotations and lineups now that Brunson is gone.

Green’s reported improvement is relatively overstated. He looks the same. Ball handing after Luka is really bad, which is a worrying signal to DAL. It looks to me coach Kidd is doing a mock trial on rotation for regular season. And it does not look good to me.
