Hardy and Wood playing amazing! Almost as if it makes a difference when you play your good players meaningful minutes...

Only the Mavs will find a way to turn a 18p lead into single digits by subbing in an all-time scrub lineup and Luka sleeping a few times.

Why didn't Kidd keep either Dinwiddie or Luka? It's a safe margin but strange things have happened this season.

Frank shouldn't be taking a roster spot, neither should Pinson.

Good win, even though they needlessly made it close in the end, Luka played 40 minutes, but he really cruised most of these minutes, and didn't handle the ball that much, or so I think.
McGee's best game of the season.
Hardy with amazing game, in meaningful minutes.
THJ was good, Luka with a casual 34/10/10 but turned it over a lot.

What? Starting your 2nd best offensive player is a good idea?!!!

The worst thing is that without the injuries, it maybe takes even longer for Kidd to realize it.

Now imagine another good big, Josh for Bullock and no more Wright and Frank. This could actually be a good roster.

Luka was just coasting out there when Hardy and THJ took over, must've been a strange feeling for him not having to carry the team.

So now we can officially pencil in Hardy as the ball handler we wanted that is worth having on the team. With Green and him around Wood and Luka we are pretty balanced if you ask me but maybe what impressed me the most about this game was McGee and his return to playing a decent game. His being able to play 15 plus minutes would help a lot, especially with Maxie out.

Damn, Hardy made some nice shots at the rim. I’d expect more up and down games from him, but he’s gaining a ton of confidence. McGee came to play too!

Looking forward to getting the gang all healthy. Be curious to see if THJ stays in the starting lineup. I think some nights Kidd will have to start Powell if the opponent has a Jonas Valanciunas type of big man. Wood couldn’t guard him, granted Powell didn’t do too much better.

So Powell/Wood/DFS/Dinwiddie/Doncic some nights. Then Wood/DFS/THJ/Dinwiddie/Doncic other nights

Hardy can play. He has one of the smooth finish i've never seen in Mavs uniform!
He attack the rim like Monta did

Let him play. Please.

Now it's time for AJ, he can't be worse than f*ckin Ntilikina.

McGee looks live alive. At least he can be a decent back up C.

Good W against a short handed team.

Luka and Wood have chemistry.

Our D was very bad, we need one of DFS or Green badly.

I'd keep my eyes on Kira Lewis Junior, Pelicans unlikely to sign him, they have a full roster and more picks incoming, he had a severe injury that shut him down his 2nd year, but has shown good ability in this game, he'd be great in the Frank Ntilikina spot.

I wanted Devonte Graham to be the 3rd ball handler in the off season, boy was I wrong, he looks really bad.

We won, but this was a terrible game for the Mavs. We lost every quarter, except the first one. PEL scored 30 or more each of the last 3 quarters without Ingram, Zion or CJ in the lineup. That's absolutely devastating. The defense is absolute garbage still.

People need to calm their expectations about Hardy. He won't see real minutes as long as Bullock and Frank are on the team... and Kidd.

Took coach 1 and a half year to figure out Green's value and i feel like he still thinks he's not worth playing huge minutes. Was hillarious listening to Mavs announcers having a boner for Willie Green and how he's coaching young team without stars. They rarely or almost never say anything good about Kidd.

I'm still laughing how he almost threw the game away by pulling starters almost 1.30 to go and up only by 10. Was such a "genius" move.

Development and 5 to 10 min a night is all I'm looking for. Like you said expectations should stay calm.

Agree.

But guys, Frank is not even a G-League player and Bullock is limited as hell.
I prefer lose some games but give a try to Hardy and Lawson. Not garbage time.

We will not win the cheap this year for sure anyway.
