Mavs are a 3 point favorite

Mavs are 8-2 in the last 10 meetings.

Spurs won the previous meeting 126-116

Me too! So excited about this season. I haven't been this excited since the early Luka days. Coop has saved this franchise.

Kidd making a statement by starting Flagg at point.
I support it even if it's not long-term. He needs to be out #1 option.

Nembhard being one of the 1st guards off the bench is surprising. Kidd seems to have a lot of belief in him.

Also glad to see AD at C when Lively goes to the bench.

I just hope he won't completely forget about B.Will. He really played amazing last season.

D'Lo keeps missing a bunch of contested layups. I like that he's going downhill but you gotta convert these.

The Spurs gains rhythm winning the Wemby-AD matchup. SAS runs too many fast breaks. The Mavs is simply not playing with rhythm and is foul-prone in the paint. The result is a Spurs pulling off a comfortable lead at the first half. That's why DLive must learn to shoot like Dirk from the corner. The Mavs need DLive in a bad way.

DoLo is just ooverrated and overpaid. AD getting Luka neal is a huge problem. AD is no longer effective playing either frontcourt spot. Wemby exposes this problem in a big way. I would rather have Lebron in a year than AD on a 3-year contracts. The Mavs need another playmaker and play a running team. AD just doesn't fit either goal.

Well Hardy is in so wave the white flag.

Sad game. AD was completely outclassed by Wemby. Flagg looked like a rookie. Klay was bad. D'Lo couldn't finish. Lively couldn't stop fouling.

Only positives I'm taking is that Nembhard looked good in his minutes played and that PJ continues to look really good on both ends.

Really surprised, not in a good way, in the Mavs....thought they would look a lot better...I Know they're missing Kyrie, but the Spurs are also missing their PG..was really expecting it to be a conpetitive game...this game is on the coaching team

Cooper had a tough game, but he was put in a difficult spot by the coach who wants him to Play the PG,instead of easing him in and Play his natural position SF or PF...I Know they want him to develop playmaking, ball handling but there' Will be plenty of time(reps) for that...and whats the Point of DLo ,Brandon Williams,,Newbhardt if you gonna Play Cooper,Naji,PJ as a ballhndler....I Know basketball has become "positionless" but this is riddicolous...BWill did great last year and now you don't Play him...them why did you resign him?

Also AD coming into the season out of shape is lowkey hilarious...at least he is forced to Play C now cause Gafford is injured and Lively still makes too many fouls

gawd, that was terrible. Wemby at this level may get MVP and DPOY. He's from another world.

No idea why Kidd is playing Flagg at the 1 when he is clearly way more comfy off ball. Let him find his stride playing off ball and get comfortable.

As soon as we took him off the ball he started scoring.

Let someone else run the point, we need Flagg to score and play Defense. Definitely don’t need him playmaking for others. That will come naturally.

Also Wemby has officially arrived. No idea what anyone is supposed to do if this is how he’s coming this year.

Big lineup with Pg having 0 assist.

Mavs team will have big problems with scoring even without coach sabotaging them.

Starting point had ZERO assists. Nemhard is going start soon, if not the next game. Kidd has confidence in the kid and his play shows it.

We don't need Flagg to do anything, he's a rookie, 13 shots for 10 points shows that. Expectations are just totally unrealistic for him.

The most laughable thing about this Mavs is D. So called defensive specialists can't defend anything.

And Klay needs to be 6th man.

It's really not about single players, it's about construction of the team. Nowadays you can't play serious basketball, if you don't have multiple players able to create or at least 1 exceptional floor general, other necessity is shooting. Mavs have neither.

Mavs scored 16 points less than any other team in Nba, that's how bad their offensive game is.

I mean moreso he needs to do what he’s known to do. Which is solid defense and score. Not playing a position he has no business playing.

Our offense is already horrid, no idea why Kidd wanted to start the season like this.

I agree on the defense thing as well lol. Yes AD is a defender. But DLive is as well but always in foul trouble and I would like to know who else on this team is considered a defender. Naji and PJ defend physically which helps ofcourse but I would not call them defenders. Cooper Flagg definitely has potential. Grabs defensive boards and seem to be in the right place at the right time when the other team turnovers. I actually expect good things from his once his confidence increases.
