Im not saying we need to trade Dirk. Even I think that would be ridiculous. I just think he should be and would be better suited as the #2 option. Unfortunately, we dont have anyone nearly capable of being the #1 on our team as it is right now.

What's ridiculous is this statement! You gotta be kidding me! He would be better suited if he had a #2 option not if he was a #2 option. This guy has carried this team for years and is still carrying this team. It's so frustrating reading comments like these when you see a guy do what he does and does it consistently to the point where they are always a high seed in the playoffs, they have been to the conference finals a couple times in Dirks career and were two games away from wining the finals. I realize Dirk has had times where he hasn't always completed the job but if you look at the teams that have won championships they had a whole lot more than Dirk has ever had.

And look how far thats gotten us in the past... Im sick of only making it to the second round at best.

Yeahh we all are, but its not like its Dirks fault. Hes been killin it every year. Even #1 options such as Kobe needs a #2 like Shaq/Pau.

This is just stupid.

We scored 120 Points on the road and shot 54% from the field and 44% from downtown. What would have happened if Dirk got more touches or if he choosed to shoot more by himself instead of passing the ball? Would have we scored 130? No. The offense wasn`t our problem last night.

It was just not enough effort on the defensive end.

Agree to disagree. Regardless, we're not going anywhere deep in the postseason without someone able to control the game without Dirk in.

There is waaay toouch emphasis on #1 option and #2 option. We need 1 really good person who can stretch the floor (Alllen-Pierce, Kobe, Manu, Dirk, etc.) and one really 2 good person to score at the rim (Rondo-Bigs, Shaq-Gasol-Odon, Parker-Duncan, ????????)

We need easy points in the paint. Chandler is good for pick & rolls and cleaning up the trash, but we still lack a guy we can give the ball to after the defense is set and score at the rime. Bot, big and a penetrating guard.

Our problem is we have way too many guys who's best offesnive option is jumpshooting (Kidd, Stevenson, Dirk, Peja, Terry, heallthy Butler, etc.). Marion is good for defense and scoring similar to Chandler, but we still need that post guy.
