Lakers have no one to guard Dirk, and he's the only one not shooting.

@ JES Yeah absolutely. He got stuck because he overplayed them early.

**** Roddy finally hits a shot.

Hard to shoot with your hands around your neck JET.

Let's blame DIRK for this loss. He only had 25-10-6 on 52.6% shooting.

Dirk gave it to Terry STFU on RC and play calling when the players are the one in control on the court.

Blame Rick for who is on the court, but don't blame Rick for Dirk passing the ball to Terry.

Just imagine Rick Carlisle has been drawing up plays for Jet over DIRK for 3 seasons already.

Yea when it was game over already and it doesn't matter at this point. I'm talking about running plays for Jet when it was a 3 point game and Jet goes on to miss a layup.

I know you are being sarcastic, but everyone can clearly see that it was the guards (all of them) that cost us this game. By all of them, I mean Kidd-Barea-Roddy-Terry.

DIRK only attempted 2 shots in the 4th and had 2 FT. And guess what he made all of them. Maybe he should get the ball.

Were they not trying to get it to Dirk when it went off Gasol's back? At a certian point with limited time, whoever has the ball needs to take the shot.

Easier to get the ball to jet. Dirk is always heavily guarded near the end of a game.
Sometimes only sometimes JET would make such layups. Tough ones those layups...

He was excellent, especially at the end. He wasn't the only one turning it over. When Dirk hustles and battles for rebounds I can't say anything bad about him.

Terry needed to hit that shot, we started the game braindead, and ended the third quarter the same way.

Bynum impressed the hell out of me, every single time he got good position he converted. We don't have an answer for that.

Roddy choked, and I've never seen that before. Like idk what it was, maybe because the game was so hyped, but he's crucial in our match-up against them. Roddy guarded by Fisher has got to be one of our advantages.

This being said Mavs should've gotten 3 or 4 over the backs. DIRK and Wood/Chandler were boxing out Bynum and he would just put his arms over his head.

Yeah, he shouldn't be on the bench.

The answer for Bynum is Haywood. Blame RC. Haywood matches up well with Bynum and other stronger, bigger post players.

That's 100% true, crunch time defenses commit 100% to denying Dirk the ball, that's the only reason Terry gets decent shots in the first place.

Why does RC like placing DIRK in the corner on a ton of plays. Just put DIRK in the middle of the damn court and place him at the FT line. Iso DIRK.

And Bynum still had his way with him. He did better than Chandler, but giving up 75% still isn't that good. Bynum is taller and has a length advantage against Haywood, which Haywood isn't as used to.

That's because RC doesn't understand spacing. He always has Jet right on DIRK's nuts.

DIRK should be isolated and everyone else clear out.
