I think Dirk was worried about the offensive foul. He'll drive more in the 2nd half, but IMO Dirk at his best is hitting jumpers and driving. Doing it all. When he's on from outside, it opens up the floor and makes the Mavs much more dangerous.

I've got a feeling Carlisle is gonna tell him this exact thing. Take it to the rim and hit some easy layups, or draw some fouls. Some easy points will hopefully boost up his confidence and his jumper will take care of itself.
