Screw that. I’d never root for Rondo or Morris to ever win another ring.

Milwaukee, Utah, Philly, Phoenix, Atlanta, Brooklyn, in that order is who I will root for over the Clippers

According to The Athletic, "certain family members" of Zion Williamson want the young star to leave the Pelicans.

In the aftermath of Stan Van Gundy and Pelicans team president David Griffin coming to an "agreement" that change was needed, reports have begun to emerge detailing the climate within the Pelicans franchise. It's important to keep in mind that the report states that "certain" members of Williamson's family want him to leave New Orleans, but there's nothing from the player himself. Also, New Orleans will have the second-year forward under contract for at least three more seasons. So the Pelicans hold the cards here. What's worth watching this summer is how New Orleans handles free agency, as both Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart will be restricted free agents. Williamson and fellow star Brandon Ingram have both spoken highly of Ball since season's end, and Hart is considered to be one of the team's vocal leaders. How Griffin navigates those situations will likely have an impact on how happy Williamson is heading into the 2021-22 season.

Saddiq Bey, who was on my draft board made the all rookie first team. Donnie pasted on him for Josh Green.

Article from www.rotoworld.com below

LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Haliburton, Saddiq Bey and Jae’Sean Tate have been named to the All-Rookie First Team, per Shams Charania on Twitter.

Ball, Edwards, and Tyrese were all basically no-brainers here as they produced right out of the gate, and while Bey and Tate had slower starts, they finished off incredibly well for their respective (and tanking) teams. It appears that all of these guys’ roles are pretty safe come next season, barring any big moves by Detroit or Houston that would move Bey or Tate to the pine, but the potential of these young studs is high enough to keep them as key parts of their rotations at the very least. Even more impressively, Jae’Sean Tate was un-drafted too, and is also the first Houston player to make a Rookie First Team since Luis Scola in 2007-2008.

Boston Celtics trading Kemba Walker, 2021 first-rounder to Oklahoma City Thunder

The Boston Celtics are trading Kemba Walker and their 2021 first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for a package that includes Al Horford, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Along with Walker and the No. 16 overall pick in 2021, the Celtics are also sending a 2025 second-round pick to the Thunder in exchange for Horford, Moses Brown and a 2023 second-rounder, sources said.

That seems like an odd trade. I'm not sure why the Celtics settled for this.

They have a novice GM making big decisions 1 week into the job.

Well, it also turns out they save a whole of salary - which can be used in FA.... so there's that.

$30M Rudy Gobert looked pretty stupid today guarding Terrence Mann. It's the same situation when Porzingis switches on him. Both guys are 7'2 and 7'3. I think something can be done here with the new coach. The challenge isnt exclusive to Porzingis. But this can be turned around into an advantage somewhere.

One thing going is even if you make porzingis pure 5 he has the skills that gobert that doesnt have..you just need to make kp little bit stronger but not compromising his speed

Quin Snyder said in his post game interview that Rudy got exposed because nobody could guard the perimetet guys so when they beat their man, they easily go past Gobert. The situation is similar here. THJ and Doncic don't play defense so eventually we are looking at a layup line. If KP were to work here he needs to be paired with perimeter defenders. It's the same setup that LAC used against thr Jazz. Same recipe for the Mavs with Gobert and KP.

It is not an ideal situation for KP, because it kinda tires him, but as opposed to Gobert, a healthy KP actually is capable of closing out on the perimeter.

People raised an eyebrow at RC zone, this is why he did it.

So do people think the Mavs would have beaten the Jazz too? The Clippers handled them without Kawhi.

Who knows, but Mavs matched up well against the Clippers in RS, they were demolished by the Jazz, except for one game where DFS got into Gobert's head and took him to town.

Its about time. Even though Luka is good at this exploit, its just ugly ugly basketball. Glad they are getting rid of it.

Carlisle may want to have a different point guard. Now that this leaked, Brogdon might not be too happy.
