Mavs consider releasing Dorsey... Signed a couple of months ago.
Now seems Campazzo will be the 15th roster spot.

Few ideas... but confused

They should release him, he is at best 10th guy on this roster, and from what he showed in the few games, he is nowhere near best, his scattered minutes are better invested in developing Hardy, he'll make this year alone in Olympiakos what he'll make in his entire career in the NBA, he's just a very undersized SG with non existent dribble penetration game.

For those who want to watch honest clips of Camp, look him up at https://the-high-low.com/

He reminds me of Kidd with the energy, ball pushing, and bad shooting. Coach is the perfect coach for him without a doubt. With that said, he needs to shoot better, but he will be okay for 10-15 minutes.

They don't have to though...? He is just so bad? He looked brilliant with Greece, so would be weird if he was not able to make an NBA roster.

That's my hope also, in DEN he was asked to provide the spacing with MPJ and Murray out, playing with Eric Gordon, Jamychael Green and Austin Rivers, on the Mavs, you can always put 3 knock down shooter around him and ask him to focus on breaking down defense and probing.
Campazzo should be better player than someone like TJ McConnel, but his advanced stats are horrible, but he was thrown into a really bad situation for him, I think it's a decent gamble, and it's the 15th roster spot, and no exception or asset was used.

He played very bad in preseason games and scrimmage, i don't know why they signed him honestly.

He is a great shooters but he lacks of size, defense and dribble... Another desperate move by a desperate FO.

Campazzo is a good PG but he needs players with points in hands along him... And in PO i think that he can't play.

Yes with better system and better teammates he can play better for sure.

I don't think they care about 2 preseason games for a shooter. Especially a meaningless scrimmage. He is there to shoot and he did so very well in Europe and clearly with the national team very recently. The Mavs are stacked at the 2 spot with Bullock, Hardaway, and Hardy, plus Dinwiddie. If they are releasing Dorsey is because they need to keep McKinley Wright who had a great game during the preseason. I think the practices they are running are just as important as the pre-season games.

They are pretty confused... No news.

The Jazz waived Jared Butler. He's a guy I would want to take a look at.

I mean you watch this team for 4 years, you know very well the players' abilities, and you know they can't do with 2 ball handlers, you need at least 3, but you then hear Brunson wanted 55/4 and they don't give him, they play cute with Detroit when ask about potential trade, and poof he's gone in FA, you have offensive coach who knows your player since he was 16, you let him go in the offseason, then you have his Balkan friend who you trade away and there is a 3rd guard who your franchise player respects and looks up to, waiting for you sign him for the minimum, you go and tell him, we don't really have a job for you, but you can come to be a mascot, while signing a journeyman center, 34 y/o, to 3 years deal, and promise him the starting job, you luck into a talnted scoring big, who you throw under the bus in press conference.
You'd think, I'm just a fan, it can't be this, it can't be they don't see this stuff, they must know something we don't, and then you lose to ORL and WAS without their best player, and your 23 y/o franchise player looks like he's 45, barely able to walk midway through the 2nd quarter.
I'm sorry, but Luka trade request is coming soon, Dirk had great teams to play with before entering the 3 average years from 08-10, Luka has a roster of 30+ y/o, badly constructed.

The Bulls waived Goran Dragic. Glad the Mavs did not sign him considering he wanted a lot more playing time then the Mavs would offer him.

I’d still take Dragic and Nerlens on the team right now.

Pinson realistically wont get waived considering he's part of the Kidd mafia. Frank would. So thats only 1 roster spot. I prefer a center take that. But if Mavs can waive two guys, then other one can be a guard or forward.

Cuban and Kidd are in a sicure spot if the fanbase is happy to not sign Dragic because he have Pinson and Ntilikina. No problem for them. It's all ok.
