The Lakers intend to pursue Westbrook and are now interviewing his recently fired Coach Scott Brooks.

Russ is the motor the Lakers need with Lebron declining.

I think it works for them because Lebron has someone to feed and stay off ball from time to time. It's a concept that's lost from Carlisle. Luka cannot and should not generate the offense 99% of the time. At certain stretches we need to have him play off ball so he doesnt go 0/6 in the 4th and gassed out.

I completely agree.
The Lakers acquiring Russ only makes sense. Lebron will use him to his advantage but Russ will benefit too.

Russ needs to desperately win a championship for his legacy.

Westbrook seems like a bad fit with the Lakers. He needs to have the ball to be effective on offense. And opponents would love for Lebron to be an off-ball spot up shooter.

Of course, I have a difficult time thinking of any team where Westbrook would be a good fit.

Has anyone of substance reported a Westbrook to LA rumor?

We have become so use to Lebrom dominating the ball so much that it's hard to see anything being different. He's declining rather quickly. Now, I fully expect Lebron to perform well early on during the regular season, where most players cruise around 80%, and don't give their full effort.

Russ makes perfect sense to me for them as the guy who can be the motor. He would only benefit by having Lebron, who drives inside, while Beal settles for the jumper/three.

What has been reported is they're interested, Russ' wife added both Anthony Davis, and Lebron James on Instagram, and both followed by adding her to their Instagram accounts. So, nothing concrete, but it's something.

Sham: Lonzo Ball update: New Orleans is unlikely to match a significant offer sheet on Ball, sources said. Ball, 23, is among the top point guards on the free-agent market. The Bulls and Clippers are expected to be among the teams interested in him, according to sources. Ball averaged career-highs in points (14.6) and 3-point shooting (37.8) this past season.

Not the NBA, but this is funny. Donnie Nelson would sign this 14 year old girl.

That's actually pretty sad. Very unlikely China has the genetics for a teenage girl to naturally be that tall. 99% chance she has a medical problem. Hopefully they fix it before it cripples her. They should have never let it get that far.

“Her father is 2.13 meters tall while her mother, named Yu Ying, a former member of China's national women's basketball team, stands at 1.98 meters tall.”

Her dad is 7’0” and her mom is 6’6”. She has the genetics to be very tall.
