And it's going to be Finley, for now.

Yea I just read that. I honestly they get whoever the best option is at GM. Don’t settle on Finley.

I never had good vibes about Finley as co-GM or whatever... I hope it's someone who really knows what he's doing and can actually give Dumont good advice instead of all the BS Nico was feeding him with.

I agree. He was a decent player on very bad teams and has not shown that much skill at front office stuff, save for adroitly taking Luka's beer. That kinda made me seethe at the time. Dirk is the only one that could bring the fans back, in whatever minimal role they could find for him and that he would accept.
When someone says, "to make a long story short", it's usually too late.

It better not be Finley. Anytime I went to a mavs game him and Nico would sit together and probably talk nonsense

I wonder what that snake cowardly Kidd will say to the media now.

I don’t think Dirk has enough experience to be the GM. I do think he’s knowledgeable enough and has enough connections around the league to find the next GM for the Mavs though.

Kidd will have the easiest and the most secure job for the next 5-7 years lol... He'll just collect the paychecks with hands in his pockets and wait for Coop to develop and get to his prime.

And here is the answer who was basically behind all those good moves. We knew it all along. It's also no secret when you see how he turned Pistons around.

I would also contact that Knicks training staff and see if they would also be interested in coming back to Dallas.

Oof that's a good one, didn't even thought of that. But i'm sure they are getting paid huge money and they know Dumont is still the owner who at the end of the day approved all of the stuff that happened.

But it should bring at least Dirk back closer to the franchise, i hope.

I hope TF not! Dirk should stay far away from this franchise as long as these ghoulish owners are in charge. Nico is the fall guy.

F*** Dumont. Never forget his outlandish statements in the media over the past several months. And the way the AAC became North Korea with the way protesting fans were treated.
