Mavs should probably try and run more plays for DIRK. Al Harrington and Martin are too short to defend him.

Wow, I'm very impressed by JJ. Without him this game would be almost over. Goes to show you how badly we need penetration but JJ is playing out of his mind atm.

All JJ needs to do now is pass the ball to the open guy.

You need to penetrate and shoot when open, but if the defense collapses you need to find the open man. Barea doesn't always have to shoot the ball.

The only thing about when JJ takes over like this is others specificly Dirk doesn't get involved. It turns into a p-n-r game. It got us back in the game, but I don't want it to continue forever.

Exactly. JJ looks to score first and isn't very good at dishing the basketball.

DIRK has quietly put up 8-5-2 on good shooting. I've noticed DIRK is making a consistent effort to rebound tonight as well. He's been boxing out and crashing the boards.
