j-kidd needs to frustrate westbrook..and hes more then capable of that..we need to use our bbiq

make durant put it on the floor.his handle is still pretty suspect..make him a passer as thats not a strong point.

call metta world peace to abuse harden before the game.

obviously Kidd is a great player. sure he is a all time top 10 pg maybe... BUT NO HE ISNT A TOP 5 POINT GUARD right now..there is no way Kidd can stop Westbrook.. what we can do best is play good team defense and not let him get in the lane alot... make him take more jumpers.

but even all time... i guess its a toss up...

Id say... better PG's over the years could be... Magic, John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Oscar, Bob Cousy, Walt Frasier ? I think they cud all be put above Kidd... maybe not but iguess its up for discussion.. and Nash is up there too... but sure id give Kidd ahead of Nash.

I don't know why people bring this "he can't stop Westbrick" up because it's not really like that. It's not you on an island against the other player. There are also 4 other teammates defending, even in isolation there is still help defense available. Not to mention zone defense.

Yes, not being able to stay in front of the guy you're defending is important, but not THAT important. Plus with Westbrick Kidd can just back off more and give him an open shot while having more time to react to his drives and live with him going 2-25 from 18 feet.

As fast as you are, you're still going to get caught in screens and switch the defensive assignment so IMO, the defender's speed is not that important.

I'm gonna miss a chunk of the game tonight so that's gonna kill me but I think we take this thing in 6. I'm worried just enough to know we can lose but have a peace about a lot of it too. We've got what I think should be DPOY in Matrix, a healthy rested JKidd who I get the feeling is hungry for another shot. There's something about JET that makes him rise in the playoffs so I am going to believe in that. Then there is Dirk. If Dirk is just Dirk we got this. Finally to steal a line from Rudy T ... Never underestimate the heart of a champion!!!

ALL IN ... MAVS IN 6 !!!

What are the key matchups?
Convert municipal and agricultural waste to refined natural gas. Sell the refined natural gas to gas companies. Use the money to provide a monthly basic income to people that earn less than $28,000 a year.

There's really nothing you can point to about the Mavs this year to draw confidence from, only stuff from last year. This year we suck on the road, we suck at the end of close games, we suck on offense, our ball movement sucks, but our defense has been good.

So idk, there's really no rational way to make a case that we will win, I just hope we get lucky. The Thunder still can't stop Dirk, and Marion can still bother Durant sometimes, that's a good start I guess.

I'd say Marion on Durant is a big matchup. Dirk vs Ibaka/Collison/and even Durant will be another big one.

And finally West/Roddy on Westbrook. But also we need someone to contain Harden.
