Hunter and Reddish are freakishly long.

-7 at the half. Thats a great result for the Mavs considering how bad they were offensively. It can only get better from here. Defense is decent though. I am optimistic because the offense cant be this bad the whole game if Luka is running it.

DFS looks like he lost all shooting confidence. Still have no clue why THJ is not playing as the 6th guy, he was amazing in that role. And Luka is way too passive.... I don't think this experiment will last long.

Being optimistic isn't allowed here

I agree with you. I just posted something very similar. I would bring THJ and Porzingis off the bench.

Moses Brown, Josh Green, and Frank Ntilikina should have seen the court in the first half.

DFS doesn't need to play 15 minutes in a half. Put Josh Green on the floor.

Don't need to see Brunson on the court for 14 minutes in a half either. THJ doesn't need to be out there for 15 minutes. Cut each of their minutes by 3 minutes and give those to Frank.

Harder to get Brown on the floor, but I'm not going to be a happy camper if Brown gets planted at the end of this bench & we never get to see what he can do.

At least he can't be worst than 7/4/4 with 4 TOs in the 2nd half. Weird that the Mavs are only 7pts down, they've been so bad as a group!

He wasn't, but that's not the problem. Problem is the offense Kidd is trying to run not having right personal for that. The only thing he has achieved is killing great spacing Mavs had in previous season.

Luka looking for passes where there arent any. Dallas went too far with lowering his usage I think, at least in the first half. Let him play his game, we see that he needs to be the one setting up everyone. Dallas doesnt have any other competent playmakers, at least not anyone that can do it consistently besides Luka. Dragic would be perfect on this team.

Maybe the Mavs just forgot that the season has started... Wow! It's hard to find something redeeming about that game from anyone.

Luka can still manage to do worst than 7/4/4 and 4 TOs in the 2nd half. That missed lob to Powell was such an anomaly. Did they count it as a missed shot or a TO?

I never seen any photos of Luka that made me think he's gotten incredible shape. Might just not be his body type.

KP is the one with the ripped photos on his Instagram. To a certain extent, none of that really matters. There's lots of guys in fantastic shape in the NBA. But are their basketball skills at the same level?

What? You mean that hiring a coach who failed twice, without interviewing anyone else, was maybe not a great idea? I'm speechless.

At least the new GM made a splash. Our two new guys have played 13 minutes combined so far. But I get it, Powell is a must play guy.

So we got a bunch of wings that can shoot. Stop playing 2 centers or 2 pgs all the **** time.

We need to consolidate some of the centers to a modern day 4. The 2 center line ups is killing us both offensively and defensively.

Before they announced Powell would be the starting center, Kidd went to Luka, KP & THJ and asked them who they preferred. They said Powell. Kidd said that's the direction he was leaning as well.
