20 game mark I would probably give them a C- but I'll care more about the 40 game mark and so on.

I don't even care about their record. They're playing extremely bad, half of their opponents have missed their best players and Kidd, looking totally lost, is playing Luka nonstop in the start of the season and still losing against teams without multiple starters. It's really difficult to see how a team with MVP candidate could be worse.
All valid points.

Long way to go but like I said other teams are struggling on different levels as well.

Minnesota just went into Charlotte and lost. Denver just lost at home to Detroit. Its an odd season so for on many levels.

I understand that anyone can beat anyone. My problem with Mavs is deeper, they look awful on all levels. Roster wise, level of playing, coaching, contracts, lack of assets...They have Luka and that's it. Luka alone should be enough for playoffs, but not with coaching like that. Something more is light years away.

I agree and some this falls on Rick and Donnie still. Got tickets for the game Thursday. May not even go.

Apparently Kidd now thinks Maxi, DFS and Bullock are playmakers.

Yet Kidd still thinks THJ and Bullock will save the world and rather keeps Wood and Green on the bench.

I know he's not the popular right now but I miss RC. At least he coaches and experiments with the lineups.

Luka is not LeBron. First or second round exit this year. Its funny to read comments from last summer about Harrison and how he will bring FAs due to his "relationships". Simps :)

I miss Dick Carlisle too.

I might be wrong but when Kidd was in Milwaukee didn't he change their lineups all the time especially with John Henson?

Kidd’s rotations suck but Mavs fans are deluding themselves if they think a coaching change can save this team. Kidd should take part of the blame, but the elephant in the room is the awful roster construction and how the front office has assembled a starting five that can’t shoot, defends half the time, doesn’t get to the free throw line, can’t create offense, and never drives to the basket. No coach, including Pop or Spolstra, could salvage this team. Whoever coaches this team is going to be forced to play who they’ve been given because any trade seems unlikely at this point.

Not much to say, bad roster, bad coaching, bad vision for the future, this is a worse roster than the one LeBron had to flee in 2010.
It's a accumulation of reasons that brought the Mavs to this point, and sadly I don't think it's salvageable, the roster is full of bad contacts and role players, and outside of Luka and 30+ y/o Dinwiddie, there is no talent whatsoever, and the FO and coaching staff didn't actually expect this given how they handled the Dragic situation.
They took the best talent to enter the league since 2003 and created unwatchable mess of it, that's impressive.

So how bad was it? Was too tired so went to sleep a few hours before game started, and accidently saw the result before I could watch the game this morning.

Atleast hardy balling in the g-league. When will he get a shot? Probably never but....

The worst game of this season. Raptors doubled Luka nonstop and other Mavs we're basically playing 4/3 most of the time and couldn't do much except in the beginning of the game. Kidd awful like usually. Cherry on the top was Luka playing entire second half in the first game of back2back.

Even prime LeBron couldn't have done anything, if his teammates were shooting 30 Fg%, while not be able to do anything else. They were playing 4/3 in offense yesterday and couldn't do much.

You read the same criticisms during LeBron's early years when he played with a bunch of scrubs and Mo Williams second best player.

We're going to have some big laughs in a few seasons thinking about these posters

He has quite a few options but he's not using them. He could maybe at least try to change how they play but also refuses do it. It's like he's not even trying this season and many Mavs fans are frustrated because of it. He doesn't even do the most obvious things.

He is not coaching for the good of the team but for personal pride.
Soon or later Bullock shoots will start to fall so THJ's ecc ecc and then he can say he was right.

We throw away the first 20games of the season without try Hardy/Dorsey or improve Luka-Wood chemistry.
That's a disaster.
It was not a smart coaching.
Kidd is not a smart coach.

This roster is limited so the coach.
