Definitely wasn't bashful out there. That first drive where he took it to the hole was nice to see.

Sent from my SM-G960U using RealGM mobile app

Against athletic 7 footer at that, his shot was off but I think he's just excited, he shoots too well in the G league.

Green is just fantastic, one of my favourite Mavs players. I think he can be a lot better than DFS one day. Also, develop Hardy over Bullock!!!

That was a masterclass and pure dominance against a fully healthy and good defensive team on the road, my God I missed that.

I'm so happy for Hardy. I hope Kidd doesn't screw this up and helps him like he helped Brunson.

I skipped this game - I'm shocked we actually won against the Knicks

This season is just weird

edit: 61 attempted 3pters? wow. Yeah, you make 40% of them you are hard to beat

Didn't get to watch the game but glad to see we won and it wasn't a nailbiter.

THJ with his now 3rd straight good is great news for us especially.

Maxi is trained to be a roller. Powell is done as a Mavs. McGee won't play much as well. Is Bertans getting minutes?

Surprising win on the back of a lights out shooting performance and good D in the 3rd led by THJ and Luka. I'll take it and that was a good showing but it's hard to pretend our issues are gone over night.

Nice to see Hardy get on the court and scoreboard and Luka celebrating it.

The main difference was rebounding. Decent rebounding is not only about personal but also about effort and doing the right things. I believe that's the easiest thing for improving for Mavs and it's crucial.

I just read on the Knicks board that Clyde is retiring, I checked, he's 77 y/o, really sad, the best in the business, for how bad the Kincks have been the last 25 years, they have the best broadcasting crew in business.

Brunson talking about Kidd. Isn't it weird that a coach puts the emphasis on a player getting paid instead of putting it on winning? I don't like reading this exchange.

“The first thing he told me when I met him when he became head coach was ‘what do you want to achieve?’. I wanted to contribute as best I can. He said ‘no, we got to get you paid.’ He did that.”

Maybe he just tried to show appreciation for him. Like, we love how you play, we like you here and we have to get you paid fairly so that you stay.. I see it something like that.

There is payed and then there is payed. Havr to remember Brunson came off a horrible playoff where he sucked and got benched, and had made very little money during 3 years. Clearly, as we saw, payed in this case didnt mean 100m+.

Also, some might have said allstar. Its the same thing, but would people complain about it? I dont think so. Winning comes from good play

It's the first time they met as head coach and player, it would be weird to say "we love how you play".

"I want to help the team ."
"No, we have to get you paid."

It's just bizarre.

It's also an advertisement that Kidd as a coach takes care of his players, which is good, even though what he's doing to Wood kinda negates it...
Mavs are missing a guard, if someone like FVV or D'Lo who are looking to get paid see this, they may want to come to the Mavs and get the bag Brunson got.
