Yep, i like Ross. I actually think he could be even better than THJ on offense and defense. Unless he has fallen off the cliff completely.

They are basically the same player... Let playing the hottest could be good.

P.S.

But THJ played with Luka... Ross with scrubs...

Ross is about 2-3 inches taller I believe

No complaints if added just sometimes you wanna see someone else jack up shots

Yeah, can't complain if Ross comes in for the minimum.

Prefer Hardy to Ross. But I get it, they want to go for it.

The only thing bothering is taking minutes away from Green and Hardy who have way more upside even this year.

Orlando’s fans seem to think that he’s a bad defender.

They can do worst than Ross for sure, but a bigger body would be nice.

I think Josh would still start. What you're getting with Ross is another 6'7 body with six fouls to give so Kidd doesnt have to go deep into his bag and have Frank Ntlikina guard Kawhi or PG in the playoffs. Its more for wing depth than anything.

When Mavs won in 2011, they had Peja, Marion, Corey Brewer, Stevenson and even Caron Butler as depth. It helps to have a lot more bullets before going to war.

I'll take Ross. Gives the offense more dynamics since he's a much better finisher then Bullock and THJ.

Just avoid Pheonix from signing any two way players. Hope Dallas is not dump enough to give Ntilikina. Bertans or Pinson is the only possibility.

Need a big for rebounding and defense. Noel might not be great, but provides an obvious need in both respects.

What about Barton?
Sounds like he could be a buyout candidate.

Completely agree.
I still think we need at least some insurance at center in case McGee reverts back to being unplayable and Maxi doesn't come back full strength.
I'm a little surprised Kidd hasn't given Morris a look...at least for a few minutes.

I think Morris will get a look but needs to learn our offense - unlike Kyrie I don't think Kidd just trusts role players to play without doing their homework.

Don’t blame Ross going to Suns. He’ll have a bigger role there.

Return to Dallas Mavericks
