I'm not making any excuses, i even said Luka should take the blame for the 2nd half collaps vs Lakers. I am arguing that Kidd is completely clueless and doesn't know how to run offense to save his life. On top of that, he's making poor lineup changes and defensive rotations are non existant. If you want to blame entire season on Luka, then go ahead but that's absolutely ridiculous.

Emotional?

Who is everyone? It's you and Arkuo. Go read Mavs reddit and you'll be in complete shock because rest of the Mavs fanbase don't agree with you.

Oh, I must be wrong then if Reddit doesnt agree with me

The fact remains the players that play bad with Luka play much better with Kyrie. Maybe you should hang out on Reddit a little less often if you cant see that. They are obviously affecting your opinion.

Pretty much everyone agrees that this is the real issue and not Kyrie/Luka offense. But you go ahead and keep repeating the same thing you're saying since 2018. It's not like Mavs already made WCF with worse team than this one.

Read on Twitter

They made the WCF, ok. I am sure in 5 years everyone will still be talking about that monumental sucess :)

You and arkuo keep saying that Doncic is the main problem not the rest of the team? I'm confused now.

Hey, it's the supposed basketball savant and the 24 year old basketball genius who doesnt know how to play with another star who's on the court right now. If he's getting 40 point triple doubles, he's a basketball savant. But if he doesnt know how to play with Kyrie, suddenly the rest of the team is the main problem, not that he stands 38 feet away from the basket in possessions that Kyrie has the ball. He's not exactly Peja Stojakovic when catching and shooting from 35 feet out.

And how do you know what they are discussing in the locker room? How closely are you even watching these games? What exactly has Kidd done differently since Kyrie is here? It's the same BS offense and the same idiotic rotations that make no sense at all, it's just that Kyrie is 2 levels above Dinwiddie. He's still only spreading the offense for them to play 4v4, or you really think Kidd went to Luka and told him to cut to the rim more and Luka said "Hell no, i'm going to fire you if you force me to do that"?

Who's siding with Kidd? I never said Kidd was good. He needs to think of plays that can mesh Kyrie and Luka the same way Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum play. When Kyrie and Luka play, it seems like most of of them are alternating isos or have separate sets called for them.

Luka is a defensive genius. This last play was nasty, he couldnt have played it better if he tried :)))

This is one of the reasons he cant get playing time. Sets softs screens.Talent and physical tools are there, just low IQ.

This doesn't look good. Defense is just hideously bad at this point. Feels like Pacers are scoring easily every possession.

Could have at least raised his arms up. Mavs leaking buckets in the paint big time again.

Completely agree. But you're contradicting with yourself regarding what you wrote before in your early posts.

Luka and Kyrie aren't the problem...you can't Play a starting dive of Luka,KAI, Holliday,Reggie,Powell!!
No wonder you're gonna get destroyed on the inside...Powell is a terrible Rim protector...Kidd seems clueless ..he wants to outshoot the other teams :banghead: :banghead:
This team can't rebound and can't protect the paint

Kidd lowering Green's trade value on purpose so we can re-sign him to the minimum in 2028. (Sarcasm)

It's a pain watching Kyrie trying to go solo through 2 or 3 defenders because Kidd can't draw any sets up. Kyrie is struggling yet another game.

Looks like this game will come down to the wire. Will be interesting to see what the Mavs come up with.

Step back 3 from Luka at the half court. Like usual.

Nothing new here. Need a big bucket. Helter skelter inbounds play and ensuing play.

What will happen?

A. 5 second call on inbounds?
B. Luka step back 3?
C. Turnover on inbounds pass?
D. THJ airball jumper?

The brilliant contested 3 play by Kidd, but this time with Kyrie!
