Is irving out again with soreness?

One guy has a sore foot, other guy has a clean MRI on his thigh, and neither played.

I wouldn’t offer Kyrie an extension at this point. Does anyone feel comfortable maxing him out when he’s going to miss a quarter of the games due to “soreness”?

I see that Mavs defense without Luka has been really spectacular lately, right? Some of you wanted to trade him, i guess a guy like Thybull would fix all the problems.

2nd game in a row they were relying on a 20yo rookie to carry them in the most important phase of the year, while some of us said at the season's start that Kidd's game schemes won't be sustainable entire season. You can't play your best player entire 2nd half most of the time like Kidd was doing early on.

This season is such a failure from coaching and team management perspective. After this loss they'll be 0.5 games away from missing the playoffs entirely.

Pretty lame when every game is important to avoid play in... at this rate they might miss the playoffs completely.

This team prob has 5 more wins in it. Not sure if that’s enough to sneak into play in.

I agree but the team acts like a 2 seed and is an 8 seed.

Well the good news is that Josh seems to have snapped out of his funk the last 2 games. He's been very impressive. Let's hope he can continue that when both Kyrie and Luka get back.

Bertans (1-6 FG) played 2 mins more than Wood last game. I guess he's the rim protector this team needed since Wood is suppose to be so terrible on defense.

I think this team is pretty average with or without Irving. And I make that conclusion due to soreness.

He's right, it's just a regular season and THE season. We're all just watching what happens. "No one's dying" and we still have Frank, so :dontknow:

Not what you want to hear from the coach. No pride, no sense of urgency, no responsibility taken. Just disappointing.

I am going to keep my prediction: Irving will get Kidd fired one day. lol

Are you telling me that the irving trade has only positive sides? :hoop:

Kidd's trying to get himself fired. Has nothing to do with Kyrie.

Why all of a sudden Kidd wants himself to be fired?

Well he's making it pretty darn easy to get himself fired by saying the things he's said. Those words are not that of a winner or leader. If Luka or especially if Kyrie said that, they would be obliterated by the media.
