So basically, you're laughing at the injury history of a Dallas Maverick player, in a Dallas Maverick forum?

You mourning about Luka doesn't have to impede our freedom to support other Mavs players. Laughing at his injury history, and saying he won't last long and will play this much games etc, it doesn't help move the conversation forward.

Didn't you and few others talking here about fat, lazy Luka? A player who averaged 34/9/10 and brought Mavs in the Finals last year? And I can't say that a player, who didn't play a single game for Mavericks yet and is on injury report, is injury prone? Improving conditioning is for sure possible, being less injury prone, when you are 32 years old, isn't.

And you're bringing up Luka in the AD thread. As of today, AD is a Dallas Maverick. We are allowed to talk about other Dallas Maverick players here.

No one is blaming you if you are still in that place. People move on in different paces. Allow the others to talk about other things and not be in everyone's faces in all threads. At some point it's just pointless ramblings back and fourth and we have to just ignore you.

And? I'm talking about ADs injury history, it's the real issue.

Yes and I support him regardless of said injury history. What's wrong with that? You can't wish ill on a Dallas Mavericks player in a Dallas Maverick forum. He didn't request for the trade. Your beef is with Nico, not us. Do not be abrasive in all threads.

Sure you can and I can say he has long injury history, which will very likely have influence on his performance in Dallas. We're debating about AD, I can't understand what is the problem?

We're not debating.

I just said he's the first Dallas Maverick to be both Second Team All NBA and First team All Defense. I don't know how you refute that fact but should you think I'm wrong and he's not the first Dallas Maverick player to be both, please feel free to list them down below.

You have missed one sentence. ;) "It will be interesting to see what he brings on the table. " I gave you my view what he definitely brings on the table. He will bring good D, when he plays, too. Problem is that we already had great D in front court, problem will be backcourt in D and backcourt creating. Mavs should traded for LeBron too, he would help more than Kyrie.

Reports are saying AD's schedule debut would be Thursday in Boston.

Pretty big game for a first showing.

If healthy Porzingis can't push AD in the paint. Gafford should take care of Horford.

My two cents is you need to win one championship out of it in the next 3 years to make it worth your while. Nico and this move will be judged in a couple of years time.

Now regarding the thread topic, AD is now a Maverick and I support Maverick players. It's not his fault he got traded. And I'm not changing teams because of one player. I know a lot of people are emotional right now so I will give you that space.

Like how do you do that? You don't have any draft capitals. You don't have assets outside of Lively I guess.

That's Nico's job. Ask him. I just said you do not do that trade. Read, man, read. Reading the whole post doesn't take 2 minutes. Read to understand first. You just read with the goal of responding fast.

Just stop. You sound ridiculous.

This is the guy who replied with all laugh emojis when I stated that this trade was unfair.
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

No disrespect for AD but who cares about him right now?

Not play the Harrison&Adelsons game.

I'm sorry AD, you are just a guy.
You will remembered for the guy traded for Luka Doncic.

AD will do wonders for our young frontcourt players. PJ, Gafford, and Lively wil be new men after AD shows the leadership that's been in the shadows of Lebron.

When I first read about the AD, Luka trade.

I read Lakers trade Anthony Davis to Dallas.......

AD is perfect for us.

Problem is, as I continued to read, I saw it involved Luka.

The positive is that AD is still perfect for us.

If AD gets his usual numbers, the Mavs should be alright IN THE SHORT TERM.

AD is an awesome player. But his health is not awesome.

He's been proven unreliable. Luka has not. I do agree that defensively, he can change a team and offensively he's one of the best.

But Luka is one man offense.

Eddie Sefko: Anthony Davis on playing with Kyrie Irving: “I’m very excited. Me and Kai talked about this I think in 2018 when I asked for a trade from New Orleans. We’ve been wanting to play alongside each other for a very long time. Now we got that opportunity.”

I expect Defensive Dominance once the post season hits.

Health and coaching issues are the only concerns you guys face for the next few years.

Don't forget the past... Davis is bitch who forced his team to trade him to the Lakers and now, after they dumped him, should we cheer him on?

No way. **** off

Luka's games over the last 3 years 66/70/22 = 158
Davis's games over the last 3 years 56/76/43 = 175

Both are injured a lot. Even though Davis is the best player in the NBA when healthy, I would rather have the 25 year old though than the 32 year old. Davis is making the Mavericks championship window a lot shorter.

Yes, it's easy to pick up this year in the equation which was the only one where Luka is injuried...
Add just 1 year and the result will change.
Add 2years and become embarassing.

However let's see at the end of this year if your numbers are still good

Return to Dallas Mavericks
