Imo Vincent just hit ridiculous shots, it wasn't because of the lack of defense. A lot of those were contested well. The guy looked like Steph Curry out there in the 1st quarter.

Exactly this, alll I see is a role player hitting contested 3s (except for the last one)
And anyway Flagg wasn't even guarding Vincent in most of the possessions of the clip xD
I guess that hitting 2 contested 30ft 3s is “frying”

I can't understand why we have to do experiments who CLEARLY are failure if we are not in desperated mood... everybody in the world knew that lineup won't work.

It's very simple, there is nothing to lose in these meaningless friendly games, so experimenting things is kinda normal to me in the preseason.

5 bigs, who are basically the best players of Mavs, won't go away in RS. Kidd will try stuff in RS too.

Yes ok but can we call "try stuff" a sure failure? Because everybody in the world knew that it would have been a failure.

Honestly i would have preferred to try a more balanced lineup with Nembhard at the point and build some chemistry than wasted a preseason game in that way.

They did try a lineup with Nembhard in the third against the Lakers and it worked well. This is mainly about pushing the players, the conditioning and testing what's possible - we had 0-4 preseasons before and kicked ass in season and vice versa.
