Well Kidd is 9-0 against sub .500 teams and 0-6 against over .500 teams. Looks like nothing has changed since he moved confrences.

You ready to admit I'm right yet, DDansby?

Much better job on Kobe than usual. George played him really well. I thought Howard did too, but Kobe still nailed some tough shots on him. Kidd even had a couple good possessions.

Dampier only played 20 minutes andI think that really hurt us defensively. I don't understand why Avery doesn't realize we need a center in the game. Odom had 17 freaking rebounds.

Bad games for Kidd and Stackhouse. Stack drove the ball to the rack and got fouled a couple times, but other than that he didn't help much. Kidd can't score, nothing new.

Most of the bench picked it up and played pretty well, especially Terry. Bass had one of his worst games of the year though. If his shot isn't falling he doesn't contribute much else and is a bigtime liability on defense.

I think we win this game with Harris. It was an all-iso night (only 15 assists).

Kidd could not score or break down the defense the way Harris could!

Avery was doing something unusual that took Kidd out of his game.

DVRed the game and fast forwarded most of it.

A: I've said it once. I'll say it again. The Dirk from last regular season/05 playoffs is back. He has that tongue out and his swagger back.

B: Terry played well. Good to see.

C: WHERE THE HELL WAS EVERYTHING WE DID OFFENSIVELY DURING THE STREAK? We went back to boring, slow Iso and didnt seem to push the ball. Kidd where the heck were you?

Looks like Avery is going to have to light a fire under this team's butt before every game from here on out. However, I don't think he is as comfortable screaming in Kidd's ear as he was with Devin.

This team deserved to lose tonight no matter how good the comeback effort was.

No Bynum
No Gasol
No Home Court
and able to get a 25 point lead...
that is only possible to do against a non-championship caliber team.

Mavs should be embarrassed...I know that I am embarrassed to be a fan right now.

It's easy to break down opposing defenses when they SUCK like the teams in the streak. It takes a Devin Harris type PG to break down the superior defenses of the Lakers, the Rockets, the Spurs, the Pistons and pretty much every team we will face in the post season!!!!!!

THAT LAST INBOUNDS PASS WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!

Are you kidding me?? Josh threw that at Dirk's ankles, WTF is Josh, the worst passer throwing that pass??????????

Remind me, why we made this trade when it's obvious Avery doesn't trust Kidd, so we can play ISO all night long making the whole trade useless.
(Why wasn't our best passer throwing that inbounds pass?)

Other problems:
-Damp's limited playing time, great so we give up crucial O rebounds ONCE AGAIN (Damn Avery, stop playing small, we got burned so many times on the last few possessions b/c we couldn't grab a damn rebound, then Damp goes in when its already too F'n late)

-Stackhouse, Josh= the ball literally DIES in their hands. No movement, horrible shots (though Josh did much better in the 2nd half, still he's not a good enough 2nd star and that will always be a problem, b/c we have to over-rely on Dirk again. We need someone else who can create their own shot and make good decision in the crunch)

-Avery, but I don't want to harp on that again.

The whole team sucked tonight, except Dirk and Terry. F for everyone except those two.

I blame this loss on Avery for having us play some sort of crappy offense the entire first half WHERE JOSH HOWARD PLAYED THE POINT ALMOST EVERY POSSESSION. Did no one else notice how many times Josh was standing at the top of the key with the ball at the beginning of every possession? Pathetic.

Defense REALLY stepped it up last quarter and a half. And look what happens when we don't play that ridiculous Josh Howard Point Foward crap. We get easy buckets. We FINALLY realized they were playing without a real center and FINALLY realized how easy baskets are when taking it to the rim.

And guess what Jes? When Kidd came back in the game the entire Mavs offense revolved around one thing: running.

The only reason there was even a game for Kidd to come back into was because Lue & Terry played a little like Devin and Terry whom is a much better fit with Josh & Dirk than Kidd will ever be. Oh, and BTW, Terry looked WAY better in the 4th running, scoring and passing than Kidd did!
