Lakers have been on steroid since the trade. LBJ knows he has a lot to prove to his teammates and the league that LAL is still his team, not Luka's yet.

On the other hand, Mavs losing 40+ points in a massacre.

It's the end. Lakers will build a team around him for a decade and give him much more flowers than Mavs management ever did. He might return to Madrid in the end of his career though. He enjoyed in Dallas, but what happened and how it happened was just too much to get over it, ever. I don't believe that a young superstar was ever treated like this.
