The easiest way to evaluate a trade grade is to look at team energy in their next game.

Lakers have been on steroid since the trade. LBJ knows he has a lot to prove to his teammates and the league that LAL is still his team, not Luka's yet.

On the other hand, Mavs losing 40+ points in a massacre.

It's the end. Lakers will build a team around him for a decade and give him much more flowers than Mavs management ever did. He might return to Madrid in the end of his career though. He enjoyed in Dallas, but what happened and how it happened was just too much to get over it, ever. I don't believe that a young superstar was ever treated like this.

I am a believer/dreamer about Luka's return to the Mavs. (after Nico and Kidd gone ofc)

And when he returns, he is ALREADY a champion.

I want Luka back in Dallas too but it doesn't happen unless the entire management and ownership is gone

He won't. The most likely scenario is LA and then Madrid.

Lakers just gave everything they got for a C, they will have big cap space in few years time and are probably the best FA destinations. He's not going anywhere. Res Star? He likes Red Star because of his father, but he's Madridista for life.

Look, Madrid is his club, he liked being in Dallas, but man, you can't erase what happened, never. Yes it was Nico, but it happened in Dallas.

He's gonna be heading to Europe right before he retires...he won't need the money and I Said Red Star because he is a huge fan and I think he'd like to play in that atmosphere before he retires...we know he feeds on the energy from the dans...besides, he even said it in an interview once

Madrid is his club, he's fan of Red Star, because his father was. He never even lived in Serbia, maybe few months as a kid.

There’s no way the narcissist one didn’t know about this. AD is yet another sacrificial lamb. It sucks that Luka is about to be another victim.

I just hope Luka will not resign there... He can go wherever he wants. Not Lakers.

If he will resign there i route against him, until that i am neutral (but i route against Lakers obviously).

I remember just Dwight Howard honestly... But i don't care about that.

It's a personal opinion, he wanted to end his career here and i hope he will slam in the face all this NBA circus and come back to home... Madrid or Dallas.
I don't care.

NBA is rigged, someone has to change this fraud modus operandi.

Mavs had a presser for new players and Nico didn't show up. Followill had to do the introductions.

Apparently Nico received death threats and has a full time security at his home.
