Do you finally understand why he was so scared when Mavs won the #1 pick?
If the most hyped kid after LeBron will lose the ROY it's a disaster, i hope we not ruin his career.

Re: Cooper Flagg -- Season 1 thread -- Summer League discussion
I think Flagg is progressing just fine. Having him run the PG position may not be great for his scoring but it will help him in the long run. You can see that he had really good court vision he’s just not used to running the point. He clearly has a high basketball IQ so he will get better as the season goes along.
He’s rebounding well and even though he had a bad shooting night he still found ways to score. I still think he needs to get stronger and be more aggressive with his offensive game.

Low turnovers has helped and I hope he gets to the like more.

He is a system player, we simply don't have one...

Unfortunately he's not running anything. And when he's accidentally running something, he's awful. For example Luka is running the most Pick&roll as ball handler, 14.7 per game with 1.32 PPP, Flagg is running only 3.5 per game with 0.52 PPP. Those are hardly Pg numbers.
You don't have exactly many 6'9 players, who're Pgs in Nba. I believe we all know from where the need for Flagg being Pg comes.
