Game 44 January 25, 2011: Mavs Vs. Clippers

I really liked a lot what i saw from Chandler as the two posters above me already said. On the offensive side he seems to get better every other game - last game he shot jumpers from 15 feet - now he is posting up and showing some nice low post moves.

Dirk looked fairly mobile tonight, but he has to work back into the season, his hot streak is gone for good. But I'm not worried about that, Dirk always needs a couple of games to get started before he reaches his usual form.

Lastly, Barea completely outplayed Kidd today. Not only on the offensive side (Kidd completely useless outside of play making) but also defensively getting under the skin of opposing players. During first half guys blew past Kidd as if he were non-existent. Watching Barea was like a sneak preview on what we should expect from Roddy once he is ready. Easy offense (penetration, easy shots around the rim) sparked our defense in the second half. A starting five of Kidd-Roddy-Stevenson-Dirk-Chandler will be dope, the bench of Barea-Terry-Peja-Marion-Wood is fantastic.

If we can get Caron back during first round I'll be pumped.
