I didn't get to watch this game, but i just saw the box score and man we pulled this out of our a**. I guess a desperate team almost beat us today. Thank god we won.
By reading some of the posts in the forum I am guessing that Ian Mahinmi had himself a pretty crunk ball game. And he also injured Dirk? I couldn't imagine that.
I also see that Terry blew up today, which is always a good sign, Dirk was off his game im guessing scoring only 12 pts, and Peja started going 1 for 6 on 3's.. he's just a little rusty im guessing. Can't wait till Roddy comes back.
One last thing.. Brenden Haywood didn't play tonight. What do you guys think that means? I hope he gets traded (highly doubt it'll happen).

His defense wasn't really tested, but Peja seemed very mobile, and 5 rebounds in 20 minutes is excellent from a SF. He got beat to a couple of boards I thought he should have got, and at least one that he got was an easy long rebound. But it looks like he can be solid on defense.
His shot was off, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he can get to his career averages, and he could be a solid 15 minute a game contributer.
Mahimni got burn at PF which I love, I've been advocating for that since November. He definitely has the offensive skills, his defensive rotations/timing is pretty off, and he's really foul prone (which I know to be a long standing problem from lurking on spurstalk). Hopefully with consistent playing time, which he's never gotten, he can polish that side of his game more. If Mahimni got all the back-up PF minutes, and Marion played completely at SF, I could live with Peja playing 15 minutes a game in the regular season and 9 in the play-offs.
We really played down to the competition, and weren't making shots. We pretty much did everything we could to lose this game, but they were thankfully worse.

it was the lady who rides on a tall unicycle and kicks up bowls on top of her head. it'd be funny if they let this be the superbowl halftime show
That's much better than Black Eyed Peas ruining Guns 'N' Roses songs.
Jesus christ.... my ears are still trying to recover from that acoustic raping. At least I'm not the only one who thought this was just terrible.
On the game tonight:
It's in the w column. That's about everything worth mentioning about it

Haywood has no offense to speak of. Zero. Ziltch. I'm surprised how much Mahinmi worked on his game and improved this season on the offensive end. Jump hooks. Put backs. He's the backup the Mavs need.
I say they trade Haywood, now, and get what you can for him if a team thinks he can still play center at a starter level.

I would like for him to get traded as well, but the problem is who is going to take that enormous contract? I hope someone thinks that haywood can play and mavs can get some legit player.
Just a thought.. Haywood for J. Nelson. I don't know if the contracts will work, but he would be a great backup pg.
