He's being shoved around inside by both Lopez and Frye. He's given up at least 6 points on offensive boards.

Guys Chandler's man is Lopez. It is not DIRK's responsibility to box out Robin Lopez.

That is simple man to man defense. You're taught that when you're 5.

DIRK's responsibility is to box out Frye.

BTW, Frye has spent so much time at the 3-point line that he's managed to get 2 offensive boards to Dirk's 1 TOTAL board. That's freaking pathetic, and even you should be able to see that.

Yea DIRK doesn't offensive board well and never has. I've said it often. DIRK should rebound better.

Team defense is based around help defense. DIRK shouldn't be responsible for boxing out Lopez. It's Chandler's man. They don't run any plays for Lopez.

We're talking about Dirk's defensive rebounding, not his offensive rebounding.

Dirk's responsibility is to get the defensive rebound. If he's standing under the basket, he should put a body on the closest opponent and get the damn rebound, whether it's Frye, Lopez, or Steve Nash. If Dirk were on the 3-point line when Lopez got rebounds, fine. But he was UNDER THE BASKET standing next to those guys, and he didn't put a body on them, so they got the board instead of him. It's called effort, and Dirk hasn't shown much on the defensive boards tonight.
