The thing about Rondo is ... he's been in the NBA for 10 years. His best 3pt shooting season was 31% (his only season over 30%) and he only attempted 48 3's the whole season (0.6 3PA/G).
His season with the most 3PA was 90 (he missed a lot of games that season) and he only shot 29%.

Some guys have been comparing him to Kidd for his passing and defense and RC even brought up how Kidd improved his shooting late in his career.
I think it's safe to say Rondo will never be a competent outside shooter. Somehow the Mavs are going to have to find a way around this...

Really ballsy move by Carlisle putting back in the entire starting five after the second unit played some good ball. And we can't seem to get any run or momentum going with the starting squad.

If we lose this game, hope it motivates the team in the future.

Only one poster complained and keeps complaining about Parsons.

Even-keeled guys know who he is and what he brings to this team.

I hate it when Carlisle withdraws his second unit whenever the second unit successfully bails the starting 5's butts out.

Make the starters earn their PT. Except for Rondo. He needs the PT badly since he's new.

And why does RC keep on playing RJ? Is Aminu screwing his wife or something?

Play some D. I'm beginning to see why the team is complaining a lot to the refs now. They just got away with a clear O foul.

It's ridiculous how many TOs we've committed out of careless passes.

Dallas is relatively skinny compared to other teams. They should use their lanky statures to flop and draw offensive fouls.

He's never gonna be a good three point shooter, but he's definitely been a competent midrange shooter for the last few seasons.

Two consecutive games Dallas is less than 100 points. Very passive play with a point guard who can really hold the ball.

This might be GG Atlanta. Wasted two possessions right there.

Rondo was decent his first game and team took way too many perimeter shots (which the D gave) which we didn't make. The problem was the close shots the starting five allowed and their O stank tonight as well.

I think RC should start giving minutes to Vilanueva (good shooter)... Jefferson is a awful player and he is literally giving the Mavs nothing.
