I thought Doncic would become a better shooter than he is right now. Let's see after 10 games, because it's way too soon, but the 3s and the FTs still seem shaky. I was expecting 37% and 80% in his 4th year.

That was an ugly last possession. Bad pass by Doncic behind KP. I think they gave Luka two TOs in those 20 seconds.

Luka is not in good shape, especially on the defensive end. Raptors gets the early lead and score all points on Luka. Luka makes OG looking like an all-star.

All of his percentages will be down this season due to the new offense. There’s no spacing.

There’s still tons of time to correct their errors, it’s a long season. They did start bad this game but have started to show some life. Defense has picked up a little but they need to get buckets.

Yes! And KP seems much more active. He just needs to find his ground on offense. Clearly this team misses a second option, but oh well.

The Mavs does not prepared well for the game. This is on the GM and coach.

They are shooting 2% better at the half than previous game, at 32,6% right? At least that's an improvement. 23% from 3

And when they told Luka to pass more, now he's trying to do too much and overthinks it. What a dumbass move when you have no one else to create anything.

It’s a dumb decision because they act like they upgraded personnel tenfold in the off season. Take Luka off this team and they don’t sniff the playoffs. The Porzingis trade really botched the team building and THJ is getting paid too.

The 4 3s that he missed were all his normal stepback and pretty much all in the same spot. If his FT shooting doesn't go up, it has nothing to do with the spacing, but with him either not putting the work or needing to always shoot the same way. The arc on his FTs seems to be inconsistent.

Most of Luka's 3s are iso and don't have much to do with spacing. Spacing helps his drives.

Honestly, I liked the 4 attemps from 3 that he took. They all looked like the kind of shot that he can make. So I guess it could be just a matter of time before he makes them.

They definitely do still need a second option. KP still hasn’t been that guy yet, not consistently that is. They still out of sorts too. At some point the players have to buy into the new system or it’s just not going to work.

Also whatever happens with KP, as far as if he does great or not, he can’t say he wasn’t given the chance to play the way HE wants to play. He has the talent to succeed however it’s time for him to start showing it.

Offense waking up, just as they start playing more like last year. The last few minutes have been nice.

Hardaway and Porzingis are looking good. But Luka waking up is long overdue and very welcome

Mavs play better when Luka and Timmy are nr1 and nr2 option, like in playoffs. KP as a spacer.

They are really lucky they are not playing a good team tonight. They’ve tied it up but the Mavs have not played well at all.

With that said, they do look better. The real issue is Luka and KP need to develop on court chemistry together. They look awkward playing together. They need to find a style that they play well together.

Doncic on fire. That floater was so pretty. Such a tough shot.

I just don't get when you get an offensive board and the offense takes 10 seconds to do something... You just have 14 seconds! Hurry up!. Doncic is guilty of doing that a lot. Just waiting and then taking a really though shot.

Really bad end of the quarter.

Brown just can't hit for the Mavs.

That’s not really Luka’s game, which is weird because that was Kidd’s game. Luka is more Magic than Kidd. It would be nice if they have a guy that would attack the fast break though.

First experiment is over, now Mavs has to quit the other too, KP taking so many shots with his awful efficiency.
