Luka is on a crazy mode now. Kerr should worry. But the Mavs has to get stops.

It was a nice run, but Golden State has way too many shooters for us to guard. Unlike Phoenix, they are a complete team. Luka needs some help. Maybe we did enough this year to be able to get a couple savvy veterans in the offseason to want to play with Luka.

Looney cooked the Mavs and we have a Powell as a starting center. Oh well..

Good season, overachieved with WCF. On to the next one :)

We make Looney look like prime Rodman. Mavs desperately need a quality big man.

It's over... Game lost for lacking of rebounders.

Stupid Cuban, you and that **** Powell.

And i don't want see Brunson next year, trade him ASAP. He can't play with Luka and he is so short, nobody is scared of him and shooting over him.
Trade that midget.

Not bad actually. They fought. That's all. Now, it's time for the FO to get their act together.

Got to get another guy worth playing in this next draft and bring in some guys who want to chase a ring as well. If you get Hardaway back healthy is he worth keeping around? Dinwiddie put great numbers up and so did Luka but the game still slipped away. Defense wins championships is the old saying and Kidd made us better on D but the other team was having its way against us on the inside so you have to do better protecting the interior and we let them get away with murder on that end of the floor. Bigs have to play way better and do the job on at least the defensive end. Moves need to be made. I need to see us get a real big in the off season no more trash left bigs that cannot rebound and protect the rim.

This was a successful season and we should be proud. Let's not beat our team up. Sure it sucks to lose but no one thought we'd be here in the 1st place.

Proud of the team. Hopefully we get better in the offseason and get back here with a better result next time.

I think Curry's block on DFS should be reviewed. But overall, GSW deserves to win. GSW also gets lucky with all those offensive rebound in the end. The ball just falls to the hands right place right time again and again in the 4th quarter. Instead of going all-in for small ball, I think the Mavs should have played Kleber instead of Brunson in the stretch. Anyway, overall, a good comeback effort. Not a crazily bad ending to the Mavs. Again, GSW deserves to win. The Mavs is just not as competitive in term of size, athleticism and experience. Making some mistakes out there, GSW turns them into advantage. Good learning experience for everyone and now everyone get a taste and know what it takes to win the Finals.

That's not lucky... They have size and rebounder.

THJ and Dinwiddie from the bench are good.

We need a C and a two way SG/SF instead of Brunson and Powell.

This series was over when the Mavs lost game two. That was a very winnable game.

I think the Mavs actually outshot the Warriors overall in the series but the Mavs couldn’t overcome the rebounding deficiencies and lay up drills.

Grats on getting this far, Mavs!

I know it must feel a bit disappointing to go out like this. Game 2 and this one were both winnable, but it's further than anyone thought at the start of the season. :P

Luka had a great series but I think his immaturity/inexperience showed in this last game's 1st quarter. There were a few occasions when the Mavs could have pulled equal and maybe taken the lead, which would have made GSW's players nervous and who knows how they would have then reacted... but he squandered them by trying to be a hero. That set the tone for the rest of the match as GSW were always in control. The GSW roster just has too much quality in depth though, so I'm not putting the loss on him... just saying those small moments can make or break matches. He'll learn from it, no doubt.

It's sad to look back at how many bad decisions previous management made after drafting Luka. Let's say that kP was a gamble worth taking, but giving away Barnes and Seth for nothing and throwing away all 3 picks in 2020 will haunt Mavs. Few right decisions and Mavs might be in the Finals, having much better team. Just Barnes and solid C would be enough. Now the only real value has Brunson, who's FA, which is another ****. Optimal option would be S&T him, but this is really difficult, so signing him for now is probably the only available option. How will they improve roster in that case is another question? Not an easy one.
