I would, in a heartbeat. He is what he is at this point and we saw last year what a championship level team did to him in the playoffs. He is not the guy to lead you to a ring as your best player. He is a very good #2 though.

Mavs were good C away of making the finals. Looney just destroyed them. Put Luka in Bucks instead of Giannis and he can easily win the title. Jrue, Middleton and Lopez are perfect teammates for Luka.

Put Giannis in last year's Mavs a d he can't do anything.

Easily hahaha

Luka cant win anything with his attitude. The last time he won a trophy was 5 years ago and he had by far the best team around him that year. Since then he played failed every time that counted and played bad. Remember France? Australia? Poland?

I believe it's not that simple. Basketball or any other sport is not about one team but about opponents too. Their effort is not the same when they see that Mavs are missing one or two best players. Grizzlies were bad today, but unfortunately Mavs couldn't get a win.

Bucks for example are winning easily many times without Giannis. If Mavs were winning half of Bucks Giannis less wins, they would have been on 4th position easily.
Really strong Luka fanboy vibes tonight

**** Luka and Kyrie for not playing that important game. You, (Americans), just can't understand how laughable all those "injuries", personal reasons are for Europeans in that important part of the season. **** them both.
Guess I missed the part where I said its ok they both missed the game

I'm just explaining to you that Luka would have played in Euroleague for sure, if season was on the line. Nba is just soft.

What did Kyrie win after he left the Cavs??? He folded for boston when they needed a leader and a scorer in playoffs, I won't even bring up Nets because that should've been an automatic win.

Tell me, what has Giannis won before they brought him JRue and some other players? Nobody is winning anything in Nba with 23 years as first option. Not MJ, not LeBron, not Giannis and not Jokic.

Never said NBA wasn't soft and this isn't the Euroleague so I don't care.

Neither of this having anything to do with my criticism of Luka either

Look, Mavs can't win anything without Luka/Kyrie and I'm sure they both could play. It just laughable league. At least one should have played.

I said that he was bad in last games. And there are few reasons for that.

1. He was overused. Without his heroic efforts Mavs would have been out of playoffs already.
2. He can't play off ball. Because he didn't play off ball in Nba before and because Kidd is not the coach to help him doing it.

I don't understand what you want? Even if Luka is a sole reason for losing few games lately, he has won much many games before. I believe problem is much more complex. With that kind of D, Mavs just can't win games easily and if you play all games in the clutch, luck is not always on your side.

We won't be talking about this, if one would have played. ;)

Why the **** should we have to watched Hardy and Green in the clutch?

He won MVP. Luka has been the favorite to win 3 years in a row and he never did. Not even close. I bet on Jokic before the season and will be making 8x on my investment.

The problem is Luka will only get worse than he is now. He could get better if he took his job seriously but he is 24 now and he is what he is. His body type is such that he will keep adding weight and that will get worse the older he gets. I dont trust him to ever take basketball seriously enough to improve his conditioning and lose the excess fat, thats what it comes down to for me. I just think he has already peaked. If $50M is not a good enough motivation to get yourself in shape, then I dont know what is. He is not young anymore, he is now in his best years so stop this crap with his age. It is not an excuse anymore.

Kyrie has won 2 games without Luka and Luka has won 30 without Kyrie. ;) Not to mention that he was in WCF last year, while Kyrie has lost 0:4 in first round with his super team.

I like how Kyrie has played in Mavs, but it's becoming ridiculous what conclusion people are taking after only 10 games.
