Oh boy, this is the defensive lineup I'm scared of that they are playing: Kyrie, Hardy, THJ, Green all in at the same time. That lineup always got killed in the RS.

If I were coaching, Gafford plays 2/3 center mins. Lively 1/3 mins.

Why is Hardy suddenly playing in the playoffs?

It makes no sense to bring him in a game 5.

Refs always gets into the play. The lead is 15, now it become free to hit/hack Luka again. Our guys just shying away from contact on defense to avoid foul calls. Its total BS!

Good effort from Green to finish the half with 10-pts lead.

Luka with 17/6/6. Kyrie has 7 and PJ has 0 mostly due to foul problem. Refs do this **** on purpose.

Lets not allow OKC to have runs while fouling us and getting away with it. At least foul them and send it to FT lane, and at some point maybe refs would stop whistleing? Pushing OKC to NBA fans is really disgusting by the NBA. This team has no identity, their players solely relies on favorable refs.

Kidd seemed to opt for not playing Exum. Did he have an injury? I do not know if I support this or not. He wasn't that good but still he has more experience and guard instincts. Hardy can create some scoring/playmaking/spacing to reduce the pressure on Luka. So I can understand that reasoning.

Hardy minutes also lower the THJ who is not always playing great. For playoff game I'd welcome lowered THJ minutes. He supposed to be a veteran player but still chucking shots. I mean give the ball then start some off-ball run. Dont take heavily contested 3 after a off. rebound. You can take that contested 3 if you get the ball in last 5 seconds in the shot clock.

I am even opposed to play 3 of them at the same time. I dont care if offense is clogged. I dont accept playing 4 defensive liability together. This roster is also so small to take rebounds. THJ in the clutch minutes has marginal value on offense while reducing defense significantly. Stick to THJ, Hardy for resting Luka-Kyrie but that should be it. No more.

* Mavs must have two of Exum-Green-DJJ-PJ on court.
* No Kleber so 48 minutes of tall center in Lively-Gafford.

If offense get stuck too much. Espeically against no SGA lineups, we can try some small 5 with DJJ-PJ playing 4-5. Please no Luka-Kyrie-THJ together for too long.

Kidd's leash on Exum has been extremely tight this playoffs. I get it, Exum hasn't been good but it's not like he's been unplayable bad either. Imo peak RS Exum is far superior to a peak RS Hardy. I'd way more interested in getting Exum out of his funk then introducing a loose cannon like Hardy.

Practice discipline on defense. Don't foul them just jump straight up.

Need Luka to hit 30 and Kyrie to hit 20. They do that, we got this. Kidd has somehow given them more rest then they usually get so they should have the energy.
