On the bright side, at least it won't be as crushing this year.

Its becoming painfully obvious that we don't have enough talent this season. Yes, we could play way over our heads and hope for some luck, but lets face it I don't think this group of players has what it takes.

It's a game that gives us another taste of how hard it's truly going to be to win the title this year. It's probably going to be our hardest task yet considering most of the true contenders improved their teams greatly. It's sad that we lack so much and yet we're so close to winning it all.

I'm very tired of seeing questionable officiating in close games.

IF YOU WANNA CROWN THEM THEN CROWN THE CELTICS ASS BUT THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE! AND WE LET OFF THE HOOK!

Seriously though we deserved to lose when we couldnt take the lead when boston couldnt buy a bucket then of course they finally get one of the best shooters of all time an open look (which was sprung free by that POS posey falling down)

but yea i hate watching the officiating on dirk, sometimes he'll get real ticky tack sh*t then a guy is all up in his face mugging and grabbing and they let it go (like tonight or a game vs. bowen) and the refs would give us NO calls in the 4th from when george was gangraped by the celts to dirk driving multiple times. i hate harping on the officials but you'd think something would go our way officiating wise 1 time.

Me too. Both Pierce and Garnett should've went to the line MORE. And on Dirk's last drive, KG was blatantly HELD by Dampier. He about ripped his jersey off. And if Dirk wasn't such a prima donna, he would've went INTO the defender, not backed off and just toss a prayer floater into the air.

There were some bad calls both ways. I did not agree with some of the fouls that were called against the Mavs; then again your guys got some calls as well. The refs completely missed Dampier grabbing KG's jersey, the refs also called KG for a foul when Dirk clearly swung his elbows and hit KG. Since the mavs have lost 7 games in a row to teams over 500 since the Kidd trade I think there are bigger issues then the way the games are being called.

Regardless good game and good luck the rest of the way.

Yeah, the officiating tonight was VERRRRRRY bad. Sitting at the game, I think I had a 1:1 cheer to boo ratio.

Oh crap I had a question to ask yall

Anyone know what George was yelling at after he got benched for pretty much the rest of the game? I think it was somewhere in the 4th and he turned to the Mavs bench, yelled something, and sat down never to be heard from again

Parasite you are assuming I meant just calls in Dallas' favor. Enitrely untrue. I lean more toward your boy Joebiscuit. In a close game I want the game called either very tight both ways or just let them play. I'm sick of what I call "pendulum officiating", where the calls swing in extremes throughout the fourth.

Was Dirk elbow to KG's chops a foul? Hell yeah.
Did Damp hold KG's jersey? Damn straight.
Did KG still foul Dirk? Yup. But no call. How the heck does a the MVP not get that call at home? Kobe, Lebron, etc. would have been sent to the line.

And as far as Dirk being a prima donna, it's people like you that complain when Dirk shoots fade aways instead of taking a smaller defender into the paint. Yet when he drives to the basket and gets fouled he's soft and flopper. Where's the sense in that?

A fact many have yet to mention here. I notice in the +- that it was our bench that lost this game our starters outscored the Boston starters and this is the sign of a coaching problem since the coach allows the bench to blow the game by playing them. George ride the bench the rest of the year.

Terry won't have as bad a game the rest of the year knock on wood but Lue was just as ineffective and why oh why did Avery play 2 small guards at the same time for so long? Wright has not seen a game for quite a while and he should start over Stack. Bass again at center instead of Magliore.

These are major coaching errors and the +- does not lie. Starters against Boston won it's the scrubs that Avery insists on backing them up that is killing us and this is why we are calling for his head in Dallas. A bus driver is all we need as a coach Avery is counter productive to this teams future can his rear Cuban B4 the whole season is lost or are you tanking for the lottery.

OLD MEN Stack George and using Bass at center is the root of our problems. The starters play well enough to win but when your bench loses the lead and puts you in a hole you have to beat the other team twice to win. I thought Wright looked very impressive in the games he played very athletic and agressive going to the hole. Unless we improve at the 2 whether it's using Howard there and Bass at SF or using Wright I don't care but this playing washed up old players is not working.

If Avery keeps this up we need to seriously consider running him out of town.

Great game guys, I still think you're one of top teams in the league. I just think that the Mavs don't drive in enough to get free throws in their favor.

George is the best on ball defender we have

Terry won't have as bad a game the rest of the year knock on wood

Terry has been inconsistent all year, what makes you think it will change?

Wright has not seen a game for quite a while and he should start over Stack.

Wright sucks

Bass again at center instead of Magliore.

Magloire sucks

with 13 games to go? tanking for the lottery

A small sample versus very weak teams. Everyone looked good in those games.

the possession before he was fouled about 3 times and didnt get called, boston had a fast break where stack blocked a shot then boston got an AND1 on the putback. it was just a godawful call, cassell grabbed his jersey and he was hacked on the arm once or twice, that was possibly the worst call in the game.

Legit question. I hate it when he needlessly does that.
