Big lineup will rock.

Did you have a stroke? What are you talking about?

I sincerely apologise, if I have mistaken you for somebody else. Although I'm pretty sure you were excited about this season.

So you’re gloating that the Mavs are bad?

I predicted back then their offense will be one of the worst in the league, knowing Mavs roster and total lack of creation. It's even worse I imagined. I believe job of GM and coach is to build the team, which can compete. It should be obvious to them this team can't.

If you play recreational basketball, you know that players who can create are the most important players. The same is in Nba. Whoever believed this team has a future doesn't understand anything about basketball.

I don't understand why fans, who're basically paying for everything should be satisfied with whatever team management brings? Management is paid extremely well, coaches are paid extremely well, players are paid extremely well all because people are watching that product. If Nico and Kidd are saying **** you to the fans, fans should say **** you to them and stop watching games.

So you’re wanting cudos then for predicting this team would be bad?

Right? How dare a fan be excited about the season starting!!!

The Charlotte boys are the worst anti-Mavs trolls, supposedly still being Mavs fans. Notice they don't engage with any constructive, realistic discussions. It's all hate.

Bobcats is claiming that because you and I went out on a limb and gave our detailed opinion, compared to his "water is wet" assertion, we are idiots.

Then when pressed for his detailed solution currently, he suggested a HC who's record is the equivalent to a 23 game winning season lol. Literally the worst possible candidate imaginable. That when telling me Nash is trash as a HC lol. Bobcats has learned it's much easier to deconstruct than construct.

Genius, it was Bob8 post... can't you even read? Ouch.

Um, bobcats... it was YOU who stated Kokoskov would be an excellent HC, a 23 game winning coach lol.

I now completely understand your "water is wet" arguments. You lack completely the intelligence to assert anything else. Like not recognizing your own statements lol. You're so Charlotte.

I see Super Cooper is being allowed to write whatever he wants, I believe it's the best to give him open space. I'm sure he will make this board great again.

I doubt it'll make the board great, it's a pretty low quality content, but, also, insisting on engaging with it is even lower quality.

You clearly don't like their arguments and see things differently, rather than calling people names, which is against forum rules, try ignoring them and engage with people where the conversation doesn't get derailed.

Mavericks Most Efficient 5-Man Lineups – First 10 Games

| Game | Date | Opponent | Most Efficient Lineup | Net Rating | Minutes Played |
|------|------------|--------------|--------------------------------------------------------|------------|----------------|
| 1 | Oct 22 | vs Spurs | Thompson – Hardy – Washington – Powell – Flagg | +4.2 | 6 min |
| 2 | Oct 24 | vs Wizards | Thompson – Russell – Washington – Davis – Flagg | +6.7 | 8 min |
| 3 | Oct 26 | vs Raptors | Thompson – Hardy – Washington – Davis – Flagg | +12.5 | 9 min |
| 4 | Oct 27 | vs Thunder | Thompson – Russell – Washington – Davis – Flagg | +3.8 | 7 min |
| 5 | Oct 29 | vs Pacers | Thompson – Christie – Washington – Davis – Flagg | +6.0 | 21 min |
| 6 | Nov 1 | @ Pistons | Thompson – Hardy – Washington – Gafford – Flagg | +2.3 | 5 min |
| 7 | Nov 3 | @ Rockets | Thompson – Russell – Washington – Gafford – Flagg | +3.1 | 6 min |
| 8 | Nov 5 | vs Pelicans | Thompson – Hardy – Washington – Gafford – Flagg | +4.7 | 7 min |
| 9 | Nov 7 | @ Grizzlies | Thompson – Russell – Washington – Gafford – Flagg | +2.9 | 6 min |
| 10 | Nov 8 | @ Wizards | Thompson – Christie – Washington – Gafford – Flagg | +5.4 | 18 min |

a. I figured Cooper and PJ would be on the list each of the 10 games, but Klay shocks me. Ditto on Hardy, even though his sample size isn't great. It shows (even with Klay's awful 3pt%) that even 3pt attempts creates better spacing.
b. Gafford is in the highest net rating for every game he's played.
c. DLo is in only 4 of the 10, same as Hardy.
d. Max only made 2 out of 10. That surprises me.
e. Not one of the highest 5-man includes 2 guards (assuming Klay is in the frontcourt
f. It's apparent Hardy needs more burn, but in replacement of Klay.
g. I'm surprised BWill didn't make the list.
h. We are really hurting without AD.
i. I really want to see AD/Gaff on the court at the same time.
j. With AD back, It'd be interesting to see Coop / Hardy / PJ / AD / Gaff.

These are too small to draw any conclusions, the team is just too terrible to search for good lineups.
Before the last 3 games, DLo shattered net rating and on/off numbers for the team, he starts and immediately tanks.

DLo example suggests, which is painful visible and backed with data that Mavs starters are playing even worse in comparison to other teams starters then the whole team is playing. Bench being better part of the team.

2 starters went down after game 4, and Klay got benched the last 2 games, Ibdon't think it's the starters either.

Analyzing stats make no sense right now.
The team is playing against Nico, against Kidd, i don't know against who else. There just needs something to happen. I don't even know if a trade would help

Starters as players who start vs. other teams starters. Mavs starters, whoever starts, are no match to other team starters.
