Bey continues to regress and Green continues to improve. I think Green has silenced all the haters who have been crying about not drafting Bey.

I'd still like to see Bey here eventually for cheap - playing for the Pistons can't really make you progress to be fair lol

WIth that being said I've always been in the Green camp and boy is he starting to exceed my expectations.

McGee played great but obviously Kidd is still a coach. And Wood back in the doghouse apparently.

Some people suggested Mavs will need to play with 2 balls but it's nice to see Kyrie playing at SG works out just fine.

The people who suggested that didn't watch the Mavs thoroughly

Thing with Kyrie is he knows how to play off ball running through screens. This is contingent on Luka knowing how to give up the ball early in the shot clock.

Luka is league best at 1st quarter scoring. Kyrie league best at 4th quarter scoring. Then just split everything in between like it was an all star game. Should be fun to watch.

Wood might be on a minute restriction or similar coming back from the broken thumb. I'll wait another week or so before I form an opinion on that.

A lot of people already apologizing to Voulgaris on twitter for bashing him when he drafted Green. LOL

Granted you could have taken this and that guy after, but that's not the point. Anyone could say they could have guessed lottery numbers after they've seen the winning numbers. Point with Green is if he's a serviceable player, and the answer is a straight yes. So you take what you can.

Watching Kyrie earlier tells me he's a shooting guard inside a point guard's body.

I think the main thing people kept ignoring about Green was his age. He was 2/3 years younger than many others in that draft.

Great game, watched it again early morning

This is the Green we can hope for.

Reggie was solid and deserves more respect from the fanbase

THJ and Wood were the expected

I think we are deep enough

About the only hole is at center if McGee gets back in the groove and starts to exert himself like tonight and builds on this but I might want to snag someone younger to develop as a backup real center like the guys left over in Miami or Utah.

Wood Max McGee and Powell will be enough talent if McGee is going to get his act back on track that gives us 4 guys to play at the 4 /5 and at least one real center for special matchup issues.

DFS is gone and he was not that great as a PF anyway but we relied a lot on him so that may be addition by subtraction since we did not play him at SF. Maybe Morris and or Silva can play some at the 4 if needed.

I guess Bertans is still a decent enough option when we need some scoring since he can heat up and hit a bunch of 3's.

I think we have the best backcourt talent in the league with Irving and Doncic but at SF we have a smorgasbord of talent in Green THJ Bullock and Pinson.

Behind Doncic and Irving we have Hardy, McKinley, and Frank to use as situations dictate and our wings at SF are also 2 guard capable especially Hardaway and Green. This team is deep with talent on offense for sure. Defensively Bullock and Green at the wings and Max and McGee is okay when you got to get a stop but you always will want Luka there and maybe same deal with Kyrie to get points on the board with protection against the double team which hopefully happens much less.

I observe this McGee thing. What I figure out is: tempo. With Irving on the floor, the whole team becomes a motivated running team. And McGee fits similar system in Golden States and Pheonix like gloves. Maybe the Mavs does not have to a frontcourt piece at all. Luka being a 4. Things
should be right. The whole team is in rhythm
running all the time. Those interceptions in passing lanes are special. This is the healthy Clippers but the Mavs hold the lead nearly all night long. The Mavs indeed climb from behind a lot this season.

The Mavs needs a big wing stopper. Is it true? Mavs is poorer defensively after the trade? Are you sure? The Mavs is soft in paint? Just a little bit. Only I thing I have in mind is whether Wood fits after all. Surely, Jerami Grant fits a lot better if available.

All the players are motivated instead of passively watching.

Both Hardaway and Bullock looks good because neither has to put the ball on the floor making plays.

Green is playing outstanding on both end. During this season, I kinda think Green is more versatile than DFS in terms of guarding bigger player, running fast break and attacking the rim. Green just needs to shorten the time to release long jumpers. But with Luka and Kyrie around, this weakness might not be an issue at this point.

This was the problem , with too many players like those our ball circulation was redundant.

Finally everybody understand... Oh well, except "the special one" of course

Green has that JJ Barea motor that won't stop running.

The two best back to back games of the season... without Luka?!

Can you imagine when the big 3 is together?
