Loss comes from 2 reasons:

1) Kyrie couldn't make a shot in the 4th. He makes even 1 or 2 of these shots and this may have been a win. Hopefully his foot isn't too sore.

2) Lack of rebounding. Aldama, Konchar, Roddy having 10 offensive rebounds amongst the 3 of them is just ridiculous. During their run, it feels like these 3 got an offensive rebounding every possession.

What a deflating loss, they had them beat and collapsed...
All teams from #6 to #12 are separated by 1 game in the loss column, and the Clippers and Suns don't look too hot either.
Luka can't come back soon enough.
Defense wins draft lotteries!

It would suck to lose DFS and Dinwiddie for nothing, but the Mavs should look at a complete rebuild.

Agree. Mavs are better off without the cancer.

Arguably this board is better off without your negative verbal diarrhea too mate.

Probably at least 20 losses this season come from this.

Credit must be given to Memphis for their play and for not giving up. They have a great deal of negative media attention at the moment that they're dealing with and they can still win big games.

True but scoring 12 points in 12 minutes for a NBA team is pretty unforgivable and not down to the opponents performance.

Becoming sad that you see a team go up double digits, see the other team in disarray and still think they'll lose. Second straight game against Memphis. The most annoying thing is that despite crumbling and giving up the lead, they still have multiple chances to retake the lead and they can't make anything (offense is also all out of sorts).

If this was earlier in the season, one could think these were "building moments", but at such a late stage, it's more of an identity of the team/coaching. Still, it's like the 3rd/4th loss with Kyrie where a shot or two at the end likely changes the outcome to a W.

Everything Mavs are doing looks difficult, they make very few easy baskets, difficult to play whole game like that. Not being able to rebound, makes things even more difficult. Roster is just wrongly constructed.

Yep agreed and things that should provide easy points like the odd smart inbound play we end up still taking absurdly difficult shots.

I mean, did you see the turn around contested 3 from Kyrie? That was a never before seen out of bound play by the Mavs. :D They keep inventing new **** but sadly in all the wrong ways.

Agree.

We have not offensive schemes, only iso plays and player inventions... Irving, Wood and Hardy(maybe) are elite offensive players but it's to difficult win against Memphis playing like we played.

It's so convenient for you to put the blame on the team and call it unforgivable. How many points did the all time talented Kyrie score in the 4th?

Can you just ignore each other?

It shouldn't be that difficult. Just tune each other out and move on with your day. It's a waste of time to be bickering online.

Whenever the Mavs are healthier and playing better, everyone will hopefully be happier. But for now - trusting we're all at least 18 - it would be really cool if we didn't have this type of constant back and forth.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, being negative, etc. As long as they don't do it intentionally to provoke others. Or if they don't do it intentionally, then hopefully if they're called out on it... they can appreciate that some other users are annoyed by the pattern of posts.

TL;DR

Everyone is free to post their thoughts. They shouldn't have to deal with people calling them out. But at the same time, they need to have some good sense to understand when they may be going out of their way in being negative and annoying others.

And this is the second topic locked, just so you can have a more productive day/night. Please ignore each other going forward --- simply not worth fighting.
