This series should be 3-1. :banghead:

Going to see what this team is really made of in G5. We’ve yet to lose two in a row in the PO and have 3 road wins.

Shame to lose a game because of FTs.

Yeah, Luka forced too many shots. Shots that only make sense when he’s in a rhythm and cooking. He would randomly decide to take it upon himself after the ball movement was cooking the OKC d in prior possessions.

Whatever hate Luka gets this game, he deserves it. He literally choked the game away. Missed a gigantic free throw. Had just as much turnovers as the entire OKC team and shot absolutely abysmal. Also the complaining is through the roof right now. Dude, you're bigger and stronger then almost the entire OKC team, stop being soft.

I'm really disappointed in the guy.

Does PJ and THJ have another good shooting game in G5? I am not sure.

But I am sure Luka and Kyrie will be prideful enough to have a monster game coming up...

Does anyone know why Lively was played over Gafford down the stretch today?? Gafford looked sad sitting on the bench.

lol I’m tired of being tied to the Knicks. We absolutely have to trade THJ. We will never win a chip with that Knick on the team. Its impossible.

He should be taking 20 shots a game, he took 11. I don't know if OKC's size is bothering him or he's trying to be this Kyrie that defers and plays defense but he needs to cut it out and score. We don't have enough offense without his 20 ppg.

The OKC team defended Luka and Kyrie to the below average level. When OKC gets to foul line 25 times, you can see how tired it is for Luka and Kyrie to do anything on the offensive end. The supporting cast really needs to support. Or else, the Mavs will get eliminated.

Lively has played over Gafford down the stretch on almost every game this post-season. That's not out of the ordinary.

No, this is on the stars to show up and be stars. The role players shot almost 46% from the field and almost 42% from 3 collectively. Heck PJ, DJJ and Gafford (the other 3 starters) almost doubled the total scoring output of both Kyrie and Luka. That's great production from your role players. The stars on the otherhand.....

Luka foul hunts and pouts all game, STFU and go score at the rim, he's letting a scrub get into his head in a crucial PO series.
Refs had nothing to do with this loss, SGA delivered when Luka choked and Kyrie disappeared.

Luka is playing injured you can't possibly expect he'll play as well as he normally does. The reason the Mavs lost is because they simply couldn't stop SGA in the fourth and that's not Luka's fault.

Gaff ,DLive PJ , DJJ came to play this game ...the Center duo 17 pts/14 rebs/7 blocks ....DJJ 17 pts / 4 blocks ....... PJ 21 pts/12 rebs/ 5 made 3's

I said it earlier ,Luka lost this game .... 7 To's /OKC team 7 TO's . Luka lost focus and most of his TO's WEREN'T FORCED

I think OKC plays to the strength as an athletic team. FT attempts allowed mean the athletic disadvantage. Kyrie is undersized. Luka is not as athletic. The Mavs smart edge doesn't work this game.

But defending the OKC team to 30-20 shooting is brilliant, if foul shots are not given. Of course, the Mavs can only blame themselves by missing half of them. The same mistake costed Dirk a champion in 2006. Give OKC credit. They played even better defense than Boston and perhaps Memphis few years ago. Let's analyze the issues and fix those mistakes.

I think the series is favoring the OKC team now. OKC game plan works to the degree that both Luka and Kyrie get completely shut down. I think letting both Luka and Kyrie withstand the attack cannot last long. More helps are needed defensively.

I think the major problem is SGA's 34 points. Mavs defense doesn't work. There're loopholes in the defensive game plan. Let's see if you can find any clues. The OKC coach outthink the kid.
