However, the winning window is relatively small due to Kyrie's age.

At some point in the summer I think the new owners and Nico have to weigh the pros and cons of what type of package a Kyrie Irving can bring back in a trade. Kyrie's trade value this season has skyrocketed to an all time high.

And I agree. However a GM's job is to constantly find ways to build the team moving forward. Sans Kyrie, the average team age is like 25 years young. So I wouldn't put it past Nico to do his homework and check around the league. It also has to be noted that Dallas dug a 0-3 hole in the finals because Kyrie and Luka couldn't play defense for the most part. As much as they are good offensively, they probably let opposing guards score 30 each as well.

Genuine observation- Apart from nobody seeing Dallas making the finals, the team is also very young. So they need some maturity in them. The moment I saw the young guys celebrating with the WCF trophy like they won the NBA finals, I knew they were still greenhorns. Dirk and Jason Terry left that WCF trophy sitting alone in the locker room because they knew the job wasn't finished. They'll grow into it. Eventually.

Terrible sequence to end our nice run:
-THJ switched on Tatum. Tries to flop for an offensive foul, so completely takes himself out of rebound position. Tatum missed. Holiday has easy put back
-Then the PJ moving screen (it wasn’t)
-which leads to a Boston 3.

THJ and Kleber are completely unplayable the rest of this series. Really wish Maxi didn’t get hurt during Clippers series. He was finding a rhythm on both sides of the ball.

I guess heliocentric basketball doesn't work when the point guard controlling everything fouls out with 4 mins left and the guys who are just taught to stand and wait for a kickout pass are asked to do more than what they're paid to do. It's too risky to build a team like that IMO. Too much eggs in one basket.

Ideally you want to be built like the Celtics with more stars sharing the ball with a playbook built for both sides.

Heliocentric basketball requires the skill AND the conditioning. Luka has to be able to take the physical toll. I was disappointed that he got 6 fouls in a game where he was getting no-calls but he also needs to complain less and be in better shape. This late in the season he is out of shape and hurt and it shows. This isn't mid-season luka.

Kleber injury was the biggest reason why we were in the Finals.
I hope the lovers will not disappear now and continue to defend him.

The Irving-THJ-Green-PJ-Kleber lineup was pure gold.
Just a superior mind can produce this kind of stuffs.

It's a shame to end the season in this way, we are the joke of the league now. Great job.

I hope they will resign Kidd until 3000, put his mastermind head in crio and make he lives forever.

This championship can be tributed to Walton. Just like Lakers had to win that Disney ring after Kobe died.

I'd say the problem is not Kyrie, it is the depth that needs to be improved. THJ at this point is worse than a bag of popcorn.
