If you watched Nuggets game Sunday, ifficiating was horrible, SGA was getting tne regular crap calls and OKC were hacking the Nuggets endlessly, Jokic complained, but he has a totally different approach, refs tried to make up for their missed calls later, Luka comes off defeatest and whiney.

I am disappointed he let this happen this early, I expected him to have a chip on his shoulder and channel his frustration better, but old habits never die I guess.
Once they see him in a PO setting with normal roster they'll forget these games quickly, he is a big game player, but in small game, he can be a drag...

Agreed. Old habits. He's just on the spotlight more now. Wearing a Laker uniform and all, you get the fans behind you when you're winning. But when you lose in LA, oh boy. Them Luka stans will have their hands full defending Luka left and right.

Yeah, you could see it in the national media, what Windhorst did to him after game 3 of the finals was unprecedented, he hated him on personal level, I think it's because the demeanor Luka givea.
To his credit, he always rebounds, game 4 against the Thunder was terrible game by him and he lost the Mavs the game by letting Dort and the refs into his head, he went to OKC in game 5 and stepped on their throats, same after game 3 in the finals, he shined in game 4, we'll see how he rebounds.

Yeah. We're used to this. We've watched every single game since he got into the league. The Lakers are just one of those teams with a ton of casuals, globally at that. So once Luka loses them a playoff game, oh man. The reactions would be brutal. Lakers are similar to the Knicks in terms of having a ton of fans.

Yes, he is still Luka...and as Arkuo says the Lakers have a lot of casual fans so I wouldn't be surprised if he will get a lot of criticism at the end of the season despite that mediocre roster.

The Laker fans now are complaining that he's dribbling too longn and that there is a 5 on 4 fastbreak going on the other end while he's shouting at the refs, and that they need him to be more of a PG than a scorer. Considering this is just one loss and they're already in the playoffs. But we all know this from all the years of watching him. The first playoff series loss in the Luka era will be brutal in LA. The current winning streak got the Laker fans thinking they are the 1995 Chicago Bulls. it's not a finished roster. Dallas went through different rosters to get the right one for Luka. I expect LA to go through the same. Soon you'll realize you need a lot of 3&D guys. Not Austin Reeves running around while Luka plays off ball.

Reaves-Doncic-Lebron could he the worst defensive back court in the league... Pelinka is not a genius (he is a pretty average GM for me) and i just hope that he will not build a good roster.

It will take a while before they figure out what type of roster fits Luka best. Dallas went from Harrison Barnes to Josh Richardson to Grant Williams to Derrick Jones Jr, before finally settling for PJ Washington. Granted Nico got extremely lucky with PJ and Lively. It could have turned out bad. Lakers will have to accept that Reeves and Doncic are a bad pairing. Denial, acceptance then before they act on it. Luka needs like 4 3&D guys.

DFS and Vando are just D&D guys with no ability to create their own offense. DFS was the main defender when Dallas lost 4-1 to GSW. I know it's a honeymoon period for LA. But wait until they lose a playoff series when these guys are just standing around. We've seen DFS a lot. And I mean a lot.

Lakers fans quick to turn on DFS after that 20 pt loss to the Bucks. Saying he doesn't make shots and doesn't do a lot. 5 pts, 5 fouls, -16. You can't brand him as the greatest POA defender in NBA history during a win streak. We've seen DFS since he got into the league. He has limitations. Lakers acting like he's suddenly James Worthy. Nah.

DFS is a good role player. We know it.

Luka 45-11-3 points playing with role players or G-Leaguers. OMG

Rick tried the same with DFS, playing him at center, it didn't work. Lakers are sooo very thin on the bigs that JJ is forced to do the same.

With, Hayes, Rui and Lebron... DFS is completely different because he can just sit in his role as a SF/PF and do his job. Keep in mind, Lakers defense and WINS improved after DLO was traded for DFS. He's been their biggest X-factor. Lakers had NBA's best defense for a long stretch after DFS arrived.

Probably even if they had traded D-Lo for a chair their defense would have improved

Sorry PJ but you can go to the Lakers too.

You have to respect the fanbase.

We are sick and tire to see you and other 7 guys lose against a g-league roster at home.

Trade that guy.

You might get your wish this off season when Nico trades PJ, Lively, and all 1st rounds picks they have left for KD.

Really hate what's coming out of this, PJ left his heart on the floor in the PO last year, he deserves much better...
I hope fans take note and not shout these things on Mabs FTs.

PJ will easily find someone to pay him more than Mavs, he should just find better team to play for. Things won't be much better next year without Pg.

Problem is, that is the only time when arena is relatively quiet. I noticed they're playing non stop loud music now or hyping up the crowd to scream for no reason at all lol. In order to go around that, there would need to be a large group of fans shouting during the normal plays but i guess real fans are just staying away now, it's mostly families with kids.

Nico isn’t going to quit making trades. This team still has assets and he’s going to trade them. The Suns I think have realized they had a good team and then destroyed it by adding KD and Beal. A young center with a youngish PF to pair with Booker is exactly what they need. They’ve already said they will work with KD to send him to a team of his choice and he’s close to Kyrie and AD. Not to mention (even though most of us hate Nico) KD is close to Nico and would have no problem playing for him.
