Id rather go after Battier or Bob Myers. We had Lindsay, we need new blood and a fresh start
F AD, trade him for the best return you can get
To heck with Klay, Caleb, and Hardy, unload them
Tell Exum and D-Lo to kick rocks
Keep Ky unless he wants out

If we get Castle and the '30 pick swap extinguished, do it
I'd absolutely love Castle here. That kid is gonna be a staple in all defensive teams for years to come.

Imagine what Nico would have given for Holiday if that's the case
Thank god he's no longer here so we don't have to find out.

If the Mavs decide to move on from Kidd this might be someone good to bring back.

Wow...
Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

I never doubted Kidd had a hand in it.
I'm on team tank, and maximize Flagg development, Flagg + another top pick are good base.
If Hornets offer Mavs 27 and Heat 27 1sts for AD, pull the trigger, gives you another year to tank and clear the books and target 27 off season for FA signing.

I have to say situation is just sad. Luka is in LA, Nico has got his big paycheque, Kidd has new long term contract and Mavs fans have new rebuild to watch.

Yes of course, but yesterday was even worse.

I think Kyrie stays. He always behaved professionally. Could be a good mentor for young players and give the fans some reason - besides flagg - to watch some games and a figure to identify with.
Also not sure what his market value would be. Very hard to shop him AND AD. So you better try go get rid of AD first

If they trade AD for picks, they should trade Kyrie too, there's really 0 sense to have Kyrie to fight for play in spot for next few years.

Yeah, I don't see any GM willing to make a deal for Kyrie until they see how he recovers from injury.
I know it wouldn't be a popular move, but PJ's value should be really high in the offseason so I wouldn't mind seeing the Mavs sell high on him.
I can see Gafford, AD, Naji, Powell, Hardy and DLo all getting moved by the TDL.
We have some nice young pieces to start building around:
Flagg/Lively/Christie/Cisse/Nembhard/2026 1st and any picks or young players we acquire from the trades mentioned.

I hope Kyrie can get some good burn before the TDL, but I honestly don't see anyone trading for him this season.
Him and PJ would be nice pieces to move in the offseason imo.

Sure, I believe that his return might not even happen before trade deadline. No need for bringing him soon back anymore.
I would trade everyone except Flagg, Christie and Lively.

AD was **** pretty hard with this trade too. I would demand a trade as soon as possible, if I was him. And I would get sure to go where I want this time.

AD, Klay and Kyrie are gone by the deadline, I'd be shocked if any of them is on roster by March 1st.

I'm not sure about Kyrie, my bet would be, he's not even on court by trade deadline.
